The exhibition center introduces that the first marine life exhibition center in Qingjiang town, which integrates play, appreciation, scientific research and popular science education, has been completed and opened to the outside world. Here, 1000 kinds of fish, shrimp, crab and shellfish are presented in the form of living bodies or specimens, which can be called "seafood feast";

From the Qingjiang section of 104 national highway, it enters the Qingjiang base of Zhejiang mariculture research institute, and there is a marine life exhibition center in the base.
The exhibition center covers an area of 500 square meters. It consists of marine specimen exhibition area, benthic corner, living aquarium and popular science activity classroom. It's small and exquisite. Marine elements such as imitation reefs and corals are set along the road, which makes people immersive. Living bodies and specimens are the most attractive.
It is understood that there are 384 species of marine fish, 233 species of shellfish, 64 species of shrimps, 99 species of crabs, 0/09 species of algae, 0/7 species of tendrils, 34 species of annelids, 34 species of echinoderms and 39 other species of anemones collected and displayed here. The oldest specimens can be traced back to the 1960s.
"Yueqing Bay has vast waters and rich biodiversity. It is the three major shellfish breeding bases in Zhejiang Province, including more than 20 major economic fish such as large yellow croaker, 58 shellfish and 60 crustaceans." In the exhibition hall, visitors can watch the introduction on the display window and search and read more information on the computer equipped nearby.
Infrastructure of the Exhibition Center Audio navigation system has been added to the Exhibition Center, which enables visitors to have a deeper and more convenient understanding of the marine world. In addition, a popular science tour route will be built in the base in combination with the exhibition center, and blocks such as observing the shrimp and shellfish culture process and walking in the mangrove corridor will be set up under the microscope.
It is reported that this exhibition center is an industrial project in this year's rural revitalization demonstration zone of "Fragrant Flowers and Fruits, Coastal Pastoral Areas" in our city, aiming at fully excavating and sorting out the existing marine fishery research achievements in Qingjiang Town, and providing a good place for the citizens to appreciate, learn and explore while displaying the endowment of local characteristic resources.
