Bill quantity and quota quantity are two completely different concepts.
The calculation of bill of quantities is to calculate the engineering quantity according to the valuation standard of bill of quantities. The fixed engineering quantity is calculated according to the calculation rules of the budget fixed engineering quantity, so it is completely different.
There is an essential difference in cost between bill of quantities and fixed quantities: bill of quantities is the net quantity of an engineering entity, and basically nothing is considered except drawings. Quota engineering quantity is construction engineering quantity, which is greatly influenced by construction method, environment and geology.
The main difference between the bill of quantities and the fixed bill of quantities is that the bill of quantities is generally the actual consumption of the engineering entity. For example, the bill of quantities for earthwork excavation is the area of the base of the foundation component multiplied by the depth of earthwork excavation, regardless of the increase in the amount of work that needs to be put on slope during earthwork excavation! The fixed quantities generally include the actual consumption and loss in the entity project. Generally, the fixed quantities are greater than the bill of quantities.
