The economic volume of this book introduces the main economic development of 8 cities, 8 ethnic autonomous prefectures, 29 ethnic autonomous counties and 149 ethnic townships in the province. The content of each article can be roughly divided into two parts. First, briefly introduce the population, nationalities, land area, climate characteristics, mountains, rivers, animals, plants and mineral resources of each region, and play the role of a reference book. Secondly, it briefly expounds the measures of developing local economy, building homes and improving people's livelihood in various historical periods since the founding of New China, as well as the staged achievements made under the correct leadership of the Yunnan Provincial Party Committee and the provincial government.
