Then, the duck-billed dragon in Taohua Village, Wanbu Town, Anyi County is such an aura place.
Xiong Shihui, the son of Yang Gong, has been here for thousands of years.
He practiced martial arts since childhood. At the age of six, he read Wan Yan and was familiar with four books, Tang poetry, Yijing and Zuo Zhuan. At the age of fifteen, he was admitted to Jiangxi Army Primary School. /kloc-graduated from Nanjing Army No.4 Middle School at the age of 0/8 and secretly joined the league; This place is famous for its prominent Xiong family.
Xiong Shihui's hometown, Duck-billed Dragon Village, was burnt down by Japanese invaders and rebuilt in 1946. Although Xiong Shihui lived in Chongqing with his family at that time, he occasionally went back to his hometown to worship his ancestors and visit relatives on his birthday. In order to move in conveniently, a building with Chinese and western walls was built in the south of the village, which was called "foreign house" by the villagers. The "foreign house" sits west to east, with its back to the mountains and facing the Changling Peak in Xishan. Covering an area of about 200 square meters, it is a three-story brick-wood structure with two floors bright and two floors dark. The first floor is a western-style ribbed Chinese fir floor structure, with air communication below, and the wall is equipped with cast iron ventilation window. Connect the upper and lower wooden stairs. There is a west balcony on the second floor and two Gothic architectural lighting windows on the third floor. From the completion of the house to 1949, before the Xiong family moved to Hong Kong, they returned to China many times and lived here. Handle official business, entertain guests, receive guests and chat with neighbors. According to the old man living in the village, when Xiong Shihui returns to his hometown, there will be cars and guests, and the road will be blocked. 1On May 25th, 992, when Xiong Shihui's wife, Ms. Gu Baijun, returned to China with her children, she climbed the stairs to help the sill, feeling a lot, saying that the house was as intact as when she left the mainland in 1949. This shows that the government is generous to others and praised her beyond words.
(Xiongshi Ancestral Hall) The ancestral hall is located in the village and can accommodate 700 to 800 people. It was built in Pengbo Branch (now Tang Peng) and rebuilt in 1933. At the top of the ancestral hall gate, there is an inscription in Xiong Shihui's handwriting "Excellent Brand of Resources". He has been studying here since he was six years old, when he read thousands of words of Li. After Xiong Shihui got off the horse, or joined the army in politics, he would go to the ancestral temple to worship his ancestors at the beginning of his return to China, to show that he would not forget the blessing of his ancestors. The ancestral temple is well preserved.
(Western-style houses) Entering the Duckbill Dragon Village, the most attractive thing for tourists is more than a dozen old-style western-style houses. Although after more than half a century of wind and rain, new buildings are everywhere, but they still stand out in the past. 1939, the Japanese invaders invaded Anyi, and the villagers of Duckbilled Dragon moved south to Taihe and Suichuan. When the Japanese invaders surrendered at 1945 and the villagers returned to their hometown, the houses in the village had already been burned down. The village is full of weeds, and the villagers have no place to live, so they have to build thatched houses to shelter from the wind and rain. 1946, Xiong Shihui went back to his hometown to visit relatives and witnessed the dilapidated condition of the village with his own eyes. He organized the elders in the village to discuss and plan to rebuild their homes, and advocated that they should come forward and borrow money from Yuanyuan Bank in Jiangxi. After years of war, the villagers have already lost their blood and are hungry and cold. How dare they talk about building houses? The villagers naturally appreciate Xiong Shihui's kindness.
Long Yuanyuan Bank is the Bank of Long Yuanyuan, which was the main bank in Jiangxi, Xiong Shihui at that time. This is a commercial bank operated by private capital in this county. At that time, it was strongly supported by the provincial government, with institutions all over the province and branches in Hong Kong and Taiwan. Wang Deyu, chairman and general manager of Yuanyuan Bank, did not forget Xiong Shihui's kindness in those years and generously agreed. Xiong Shihui collected the ownership certificates of the whole village's fields and forests, mortgaged them to Yuanyuan Bank, and made a loan of 500 million yuan, thus re-planning the whole village. It was designed by Zuo Jizu, a famous architect at that time, and built by Zhang Chuanliang, a famous craftsman. It had a two-story building of 17 (at that time, the population of Hadrosaurs was less than 200). The building is a combination of Chinese and western, including a hall, a bedroom, a kitchen and a farm tool room. It was novel in design, well-built and neatly arranged, which was rare in rural areas at that time and was called "the specimen of new rural construction" by the outside world.
1949 Shortly after the retreat of the Kuomintang, the gold certificate depreciated day by day, which can be said to have plummeted. Xiong Shihui seized the opportunity to urge his people to repay the loan. From the old to the new, a building is only worth 24 copper coins, which is equivalent to a silver dollar at the current price. It will be a joke for a while.
(Gu Tomb) Gu Tomb is commonly known as "Mrs. Gu Tomb". In ancient times, she was the "second lady", located at the top of Tongluo Mountain, two miles north of Duckbill Dragon Village.
Gu (1906- 1929), a native of Zhuji, Zhejiang. Daughter of Gu Qingxuan, Lieutenant General of the Military Senate of the National Government. I studied medicine in Japan, and I am proficient in medicine and several languages. 1923 18 years old belongs to Xiong Shihui Renfang. 1928, his brother Gu was seriously ill in Japan, and his family was at a loss when they heard about it. Gu Shifang was pregnant and insisted on going. Later, due to grief and overwork, he died in Shanghai Fumin Hospital on August 24th of the following year. Three daughters, Minghua, Hao Ming and Ji Hua.
Take the road from Ganjia Village to the hilly path, and you can reach Gu Tomb. The inscription is Xiong Shihui's calligraphy. At that time, Gu's coffin went up the river from Shanghai, straight into Poyang Lake, and turned down the river. It took a lot of trouble all the way. According to the memories of the old people who attended the funeral that year, the funeral procession was miles long. Dozens of engineers participated in the construction of the mausoleum.
1949, Jujiagang, Xiong Shihui, the tomb was abandoned, and the county people's government and villagers renovated it several times before it was completely protected. More than a dozen guests from the United States, Taiwan Province Province and Thailand went up the mountain to offer their condolences. People in the village often read about Gu's virtue and often go to the grave to worship.
