1 and introduction of SQA project
In order to introduce foreign high-quality educational resources, cultivate skilled talents urgently needed in China, and promote educational cooperation and exchanges between China and Britain, the Study Abroad Service Center of the Chinese Ministry of Education cooperated with Scotfish Qualifications Authority to introduce the British Advanced Diploma (ad) to China in 2003.
In 2005, the Ministry of Education and the Scottish Executive Yuan signed the Memorandum on Promoting Education Cooperation between the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Scottish Executive Yuan of the United Kingdom, and designated overseas study service centers to cooperate with SQA in education and training.
In 20 17, the AD course jointly organized by China Overseas Study Service Center and SQA was written into the joint statement of the fifth meeting of the China-UK Advanced Foreign Language Exchange Mechanism.
Step 2 study
Qingdao University of Technology actively seeks the development of international courses and has launched the British higher education project, namely SQA-AD. The SQA-AD project of Qingdao University of Technology is a phased academic education generally accepted by British universities. It has a high-quality curriculum system, advanced teaching concepts and curriculum characteristics of combining academics with practice, which has been widely recognized and praised by countries all over the world.
The school actively expands the scope of students' continuing education, and the SQA-AD project has established continuing education channels with more than 50 universities in 7 countries. After studying in Qingdao University of Technology for 3 years, students can choose more than 50 foreign universities for further study. They can get a bachelor's degree recognized at home and abroad in 1 year, and apply for a master's degree in 1 year.
The study abroad service center of the Ministry of Education shall certify the degrees obtained by returned overseas students in accordance with relevant regulations. At present, the state has promulgated the corresponding "Measures for Promoting the Entrepreneurship and Work of Overseas Students" to provide various preferential conditions and resettlement for returned overseas students.
