Why does the rear brake of Chevrolet Cruze make abnormal noise when reversing?

Hello Peng:

Chevrolet Cruze rear wheel brake is disc structure. In general, the clearance between the brake pad and the disc is less than 1mm, which is determined by the structure of the disc brake. It is not allowed and cannot be adjusted artificially. If the rear wheel drives in a certain direction when reversing, the gap between the brake pad and the brake disc may change slightly or even stick together, so when the wheel rotates, the brake pad and the brake disc will make a rubbing sound, if there is no abnormal wear. However, if the noise is loud and accompanied by the phenomenon of braking delay (no return), you must go to the maintenance station to check the rear wheel brake pads, cylinders and cylinder brackets.

I hope the above answers are helpful to you, thank you!
