Turayan in World of Warcraft was born in the royal city of Lordaeron. His father was a poor prison guard, and his mother died very early. Turayan used to be a priest in his early years. Later, under the recommendation of Bishop alonso Fao, he became the first paladin of the Silver Hand Order to be baptized together with uther lightbringer, Saidan Dasohan and Tirion Fordring.
1. Biography
Turayan was born in the kingdom of Lordaeron and became a priest with Archbishop Alonso Fao in his early years. After World War I, Sir Anduin Lothar led the refugees from Stormwind to take refuge in Lordaeron, and lobbied other kingdoms to form alliances and serve as commanders. Only then did Fao decide to set up the Knights of the Silver Hand and introduce his four disciples to Lothar, and Turayan was one of them.
During the Second World War, Turayan and Sir Lothar fought against the tribe together, and they had a good relationship with the senior elf ranger Aleria Windrunner. After a series of battles, Turayan's amazing fighting and commanding talent won the trust of Sir Lothar and exorcist Khadga. Finally, in the tragic Armageddon of Blackstone Mountain, because ogrim doomhammer, the tribal leader, successfully killed Sir Lothar in a duel, Turayan was shocked and picked up Lothar's broken arrow, and inspired a powerful force of light from his body to repel Ogram. Later, Turayan took Khadga and others to the cursed land and forced the orcs to flee to Delano. Finally, Khadga closed the door of darkness, and the Second World War ended. After the war, the allies called themselves "sons of Lothar" in memory of their dead commander.
The story about Turayan himself is almost completely presented in the game of Warcraft II. In the two official novels, Tide of Darkness and Gate of Darkness, Turayan himself is described as the protagonist, which makes us better understand that the first paladin in the history of Warcraft is not Woother, Fuding or other heroes, but Turayan.
2. People comment
Turayan said that he never mentioned his parents to anyone in any official novel. Without parents as role models, it also makes his personality easy to worship what he worships. He followed Archbishop Fao and became a priest, which is his merciful and kind nature.
From the first time Turayan went to the battlefield, we can see that he was not a young man used to killing scenes. Turayan is the representative of a gentle and kind man. He is unsociable and shy and introverted in the face of feelings, but he is willing to fight for his love and belief and is fearless in the face of any enemy. At first, Sir Lothar chose his deputy because he saw Turayan grow up not because of his belief in the light, but because of his quick thinking and innate pure moral sense.
Turayan's greatest advantage is his strong sense of responsibility and gentle personality, which makes the female elf Aurelia fall in love with him and makes Aurelia open a closed inner world.
Turayan at ordinary times doesn't see any general temperament, but is more like a kind young man. Only when he goes to the battlefield will he show his tough spirit and show no mercy and pity to the evil enemy. In the hearts of those enemies, Turayan is their death. When dealing with a respectable enemy, he will use his chivalry to solve everything completely. He treats soldiers like his own brothers. In everyone's mind, he is the savior. He is gentle with others. Although he is not as well educated as a noble, he is still a gentleman.
Turayan always stops his subordinates from calling him "general" or "adult". Because he doesn't feel superior to others, he thinks he is always equal to other comrades.
