Information about foreign pianos

There are many brands on the market. This article will talk about the general background of piano brand.

First, it originated in Europe.

The origin of piano brand is in Europe. Before 1960, the piano brand was the world of European pianos. Mainly concentrated in Germany, Britain, France, Austria and Czech Republic, the most prosperous era is between 1880- 1930.

Since 1930, influenced by the Great Depression and World War II, European piano brands have never reached the height of that era.

During the period before 1960, Chinese people were familiar with brands such as Besendorf, Besitan, Brassler, Steinway, Weber, Sailor and Petrov.

Second, the mature development of piano brands in the United States

From 65438 to 0960, the American piano consumption market began to prosper, and since then the American market has become a barometer of the piano industry.

From 1965 to 1985, it was a great era for Japanese pianos to invade the American market, and it also created the competition history between Kawaii and Yamaha. In this era, only these two Japanese products are the most dazzling in the whole world piano industry.

Korean pianos began to invade the American market on 1980, and the representative brands are Yingchang and Sanyi. In particular, Yingchang Piano (affiliated to Hyundai Group of Korea) reached the world's first output of 654.38+0.5 million sets in the 1990s, becoming the pinnacle of Korean piano in the early 1990s.

In the 1990s, European pianos also tried to re-enter the American market, but due to the exchange rate and the balance between price and quality, they have been unable to compete with Japanese and Korean pianos. Although their products are very good, their sales have not been high.

China's manufacturing is not backward, and it began to invade the American market in 2000. At present, pianos made in China account for one third of the sales of new pianos in the United States. In the American market, the most representative domestic brands are Helen and Zhujiang.

Third, the piano market in China.

Although the piano brand market in China is not yet fully mature, there is no doubt that China is the biggest cake in the world piano market at present.

China Modern Piano started at 1950, and the National Government planned four piano factories in Northeast China (Nordska), Guangzhou (Pearl River), Beijing (Xinghai) and Shanghai (Strauss). At the end of 1980s, China government began to open foreign capital economy and increase Yantai (Ginsburg) piano production base. Since then, five piano factories in China have been formed.

Since the 1990s, with the rapid economic growth and social and cultural prosperity in China, the demand for piano by the emerging middle class in China has begun to explode. Taking advantage of this spring breeze and the soaring labor cost in the country of origin, 1993, Hyundai Group's Yingchang Piano entered Tianjin, and then South Korea's Sany Piano also entered Tianjin, but the investment in Shanghai was not smooth, and it took a turn for the better when it moved to Indonesia to produce pianos with lower labor cost. 1995, Japanese Kawai and Yamaha successively entered China. Since then, Japanese and Korean departments have quickly occupied the high-end market in China.

Fourth, the status quo of European pianos

The development of European piano in the past 50 years has not been very smooth. Looking back on the 50-year history of European pianos, many of them closed down and merged. Of the 200 piano companies, only 20 can produce normally in Europe at present. Moreover, the property rights or equity of some of these enterprises are already in the hands of Asian enterprises. But these have not affected the first-class quality of European pianos.

In order to survive better, these well-known European brands began to reduce their production lines and seek partners around the world, making use of the low labor and capital of local enterprises to produce products with more suitable prices in order to make a living.

Due to the labor cost, the first-line piano manufacturers in western Europe began to develop in eastern Europe, and made the products of the second group, such as Bohemian, Hoffmann, Vogel vogel, Bechstein and Schimmel. Czech Republic, Poland and other countries are close to Western Europe in social system, code of conduct and production quality. (But the accessories of some piano products in Eastern Europe are probably made in China and assembled in Eastern Europe. )

The other is to cooperate with Asian piano companies to produce sub-series products with lower quality than those in Eastern Europe, and to manufacture the third group of products, such as those under a certain brand.

The above products belong to various forms of European products with different quality grades. Although it is a bit messy, there will be different degrees of quality control. Unfortunately, most of the so-called European pianos in China have nothing to do with the above forms. They simply registered a foreign name, which was produced by small and medium-sized enterprises. They also became the representatives of profiteering pianos and kickback pianos, which also caused the German Piano Association to borrow 20 12 Shanghai Musical Instrument Exhibition to go to China for collective counterfeiting.

Summary:

The piano market in China at present. The domestic pianos are mainly Guangzhou Pearl River, Beijing Xinghai, Ningbo Helen and Yichang Changjiang.
