History of running a school:
The school, formerly known as Dagong Middle School, was founded in 1903. During the period, it was renamed many times, and the unified number of middle schools in the city was 1958, and it was named "No.4 Middle School in Anyang City, Henan Province".
From June 65438 to June 0999, due to the transformation of the old city and the re-layout of middle schools in urban areas, the Municipal Education Commission decided to redefine the scale of No.4 Middle School, set it as a junior middle school with 24 classes, re-establish the leadership and teaching staff, and participate in computer allocation in 2000 to resume recruiting new students.

The school now covers an area of nearly 30 mu, with first-class laboratory, computer room, language lab, closed-circuit television, multimedia classroom, satellite television receiving system, campus network and other advanced teaching equipment and a team of high-quality teachers, including Henan special-grade teachers 1 person, senior middle school teachers 18 person and provincial and municipal first-class middle school teachers 16 person.
In particular, young teachers have new educational concepts, new teaching methods, high enthusiasm for teaching and research, and strong affinity with students, which are well received by students. Many young teachers have emerged, and their teaching achievements have entered the advanced ranks in the city.

Nearly 100 papers written by teachers won national, provincial and municipal awards, and 3 excellent papers were written, which won the advanced unit of comprehensive practical research in Henan Province. In top-quality courses, video courses, open classes and other competitions, 1 person won the national first prize,1person won the provincial first prize,1person won the municipal first prize, and 30 people won the first and second prizes in the urban area.

After the new leadership team entered the school, they worked hard with the teachers, made great efforts to reform, actively raised funds, demolished the old and built new ones, leveled the playground, afforested the campus, purchased and built advanced teaching equipment, and improved the teaching and office conditions. On the basis of integrating the teaching staff, they passed the written test, interview, trial lecture and trial procedures in line with the principle of merit-based admission.
