Based on the Northeast Asia region, focusing on the modern manufacturing industry, deep processing of agricultural products, modern Chinese medicine and biopharmaceuticals, photoelectric information and other industries in Northeast Asia, we will highlight the economic and trade characteristics, highlight the regional characteristics of Northeast Asia, and highlight the industrial characteristics of Northeast Asia, so that participants can find business opportunities, achieve development and achieve common prosperity through the Expo.
3. Northeast Asia Expo is a comprehensive exhibition integrating commodity display, investment negotiation, professional conference and cultural and sports activities. (1) Show the economic development advantages and famous, excellent, special and new products of Northeast China and relevant domestic provinces and cities, five Northeast Asian countries and relevant countries, and promote the development of domestic and foreign trade in China by building a platform for goods trade between China and five Northeast Asian countries and other countries in the world.
(2) Organize participants to introduce investment projects, release cooperation information, conduct special project negotiations, and expand regional investment cooperation.
(3) During the Expo, the Northeast Asia Economic Cooperation Forum, the Northeast Asia Five-country Business Week (Sunday) and professional international conferences such as investment cooperation and economic and trade negotiations were held, which provided a higher-level exchange and cooperation platform for people from all walks of life.
(4) Hold cultural activities such as "One Song" and "Meeting Northeast Asia" to promote non-governmental exchanges in Northeast Asia. Northeast Asia refers to a vast area including northeastern China (three northeastern provinces and northeastern Inner Mongolia), North Korea, South Korea, Japan, Mongolia and eastern Siberia, with an area of nearly 9 million square kilometers and a population of 300 million. Its GDP accounts for about one-fifth of the world and more than 70% of Asia. Under the new situation of economic globalization and regional economic integration, the economic and trade relations in Northeast Asia are getting closer and closer, and Northeast Asia has become one of the most dynamic and potential regions in the global economy.
China government attaches great importance to regional economic cooperation in Northeast Asia. Hold high-standard "Northeast Asia Economic Forum" continuously to study and discuss the ways of rapid development of regional economic cooperation in Northeast Asia; Vigorously support the Tumen River regional development project proposed by the United Nations Development Programme, and actively participate in intergovernmental coordination and consultation meetings in Northeast Asia; Combined with the actual development of the old industrial base in Northeast China, this paper puts forward a strategic decision to speed up the adjustment and transformation of the old industrial base in Northeast China, and adopts a series of supporting policies in taxation, social security and finance. It laid a foundation for further promoting regional economic cooperation in Northeast Asia. In this case, it is in line with the trend of world economic development and the common interests of all parties in Northeast Asia to build a high-level, authoritative and widely influential economic and technological cooperation and trade platform, promote exchanges and cooperation among countries, seek harmonious development and achieve common prosperity. Under this general trend, the People's Government of Jilin Province proposed to bid for the Northeast Asia Expo, thus, the China Jilin Northeast Asia Investment and Trade Expo came into being.
