Dragon Boat Race is an ancient folk activity in China. According to legend, at the end of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty and the Warring States Period, Qu Yuan, a doctor of the State of Chu, held a grudge and threw himself into the river. The people of Chu did not want to let the sage Qu Yuan die, so many people rowed after the rescue. They rushed to catch up, and disappeared when they arrived at Dongting Lake in Yueyang, for the origin of the dragon boat race, and then rowed a dragon boat to commemorate it on May 5 every year.
