Bidding procedure
The time limit for temporary residents to handle the acceptance, approval and issuance of travel permits to and from Hong Kong and Macao is 15 working days, which is only one more procedure than that for permanent residents to submit unit certificates and opinions. The specific procedures for temporary residents to apply for the Pass to and from Hong Kong and Macao are as follows: For foreigners who have lived in Guangzhou for more than half a year in accordance with the regulations (if the ic card has a temporary residence permit for less than half a year, it can be counted continuously with the paper temporary residence permit), they should submit a complete Application Form for the Pass to and from Hong Kong and Macao for Guangzhou residents to the exit and entry administration department of the district (county) public security bureau where their temporary residence or immediate family members are located, and at the same time submit three recent bareheaded color photos of the applicant.
