With the approval of Sichuan Provincial People's Government, Luzhou Medical Device Vocational College was formally established. After more than three years' efforts, Southwest Medical Investment Group successfully applied for the college, and Luzhou has another private full-time ordinary college at the specialist level.
The college was founded by Luzhou Haoyang Senteng Education Development Co., Ltd. and jointly funded by Southwest Pharmaceutical Investment Group and Haosen Real Estate Company. The project is located in the Second Medical Education Park of Changshi New Town, covering an area of about 530 mu and a construction area of about 220,000 square meters. The school size is tentatively set at 6000 students. At present, the campus has been fully built and the internal facilities of the campus are under construction. It is expected to be put into use this year, and the college will recruit medical device professionals for the whole country.
Southwest Medical Investment will adhere to the development plan of medical education industry, guide and urge Haoyang Senteng Education Company to do a good job in college self-construction, discipline setting and talent training, and strive to build the college into a high-level vocational college with characteristics and cultivate more applied skilled talents.
