How to install the clamp pipe joint?

1, the clamp pipe joint in pipeline construction and installation must be in a natural state, and the product should not be artificially deformed during installation. This can avoid the early damage of the product and the weakening of the use effect.

2. If the product is designed and installed near the outlet of the water pump or at the corner of the pipeline, and the product is hung in a high-voltage high-rise building, the pipeline must have a fixed bracket or a fixed bracket, and the force on the fixed bracket and the fixed bracket must be greater than the axial force, otherwise the product should be equipped with an anti-pull-off limit device.

3. When installing the clamp type pipe joint, all the reinforcing rings (rigid steel wire rope of the protruding part) at both ends of the ball must be clamped into the flange groove to prevent the ball from falling off the flange when the pipeline is pressed. When installing bolts, first tighten symmetrical bolts (six or four) to ensure that the ball is in place on the flange.

4. When the clamp type pipe joint is connected with the pipe flange, the bolt lead screw should extend to one end of the pipe flange to prevent the clamp type arch part from being squeezed or punctured when the thread expands under pressure. The bolts at each end must be tightened symmetrically under pressure, so that the tightness of all bolts is consistent. In places with bad service conditions, in addition to adding flat pads, spring washers should be added to prevent nuts from loosening.

5. When the clamp type pipe joint is used at the outlet of water (oil) pump at close range or under the condition of frequent start and stop, in order to reduce the influence of excessive stretching and compression of the clamp type pipe joint length on the pump and pipeline, limit devices should be installed at both ends of the flange.

6. When installing and using the large-diameter clamp pipe joint, in order to facilitate the installation and reduce the labor intensity, a short pipe with appropriate length should be made at one end of the flange. After the clamp pipe joint is connected with the short pipe and the pipe at the other end, the short pipe should be welded with the long pipe at the other end.

7. In order to facilitate the radial deviation caused by welding deformation of the short pipe, the pipe flanges at both ends should be temporarily welded with round steel or other metal objects with corresponding strength before welding, so that the joint between the clamp pipe joint and the flange forms a rigid body. After the short pipe is welded, the welded objects should be removed to make the rubber soft joint in a natural state after installation.

8. During the temporary welding of metal connection and flange, remember to cover the soft rubber joint at the welding place with a cover to avoid burning the ball during welding.
