Introduction:
Furong River originates from Shiwengzi, Suiyang County, Guizhou Province, flows through Guizhou and Chongqing provinces from south to north, and joins Wujiang River at the mouth of Wulong River, with a total length of 23 1km. Furong River was called Suishui in ancient times, also known as Pangu River. Because there are many hibiscus trees along the coast of Jiangkou Town at the intersection with Wujiang River, it is called Furong River.
The Chongqing section of Furong River is a key scenic spot with a total length of 35 kilometers. It is dominated by typical large U-shaped canyons, and the main scenic spot is Furong Cave Scenic Area. Miao village customs, ancient wood and bamboo sea, monkey garden and banana forest in Pangu River Scenic Area; Butterfly Valley, Longkong Waterfall and Stalagmite in the Hanging Dam Scenic Area; Red Army Ferry, Agate Flying Spring, Jiang Taigong Fishing Island and Zhuzixi in Zhuzixi Scenic Area. There are national rare animals langurs in the scenic area, which can be observed at close range, and macaques are in groups. You can hold a long pole, drive a canoe, swim in the blue waves and enjoy the magic and beauty of nature.
