Wenheng Bridge is an oppositely arranged stone arch bridge, all made of bluestone. On both sides of the bridge, there are six-character regular script of "Wenheng Bridge in Wujin County", and there are four bridge buckets on both sides of the arch ring. The bridge is 9.92 meters high and 49.2 meters long. The small holes on both sides span 6. 1 m, and the middle holes span11.6m. There are 49 stone steps in the north and south. It is the tallest and longest bridge among the ancient masonry bridges in Changzhou. The ancient bridge is tall and straight, and three arched bridge opening flies into the water to form three big rings. Every autumn night, when the bright moon is reflected, three caves can be seen and the scenery is charming. This is the famous scene of "Wen Heng Crossing the Moon". Wenheng Bridge, located between Shilongzui and Tulongzui, is a traffic artery near the corner of the city, with frequent traffic. "Fishing of Five Sheep" records: "Wenheng is the lock between the north and the south, the grain ship goes up and down, and the wheels and hooves are staggered." It can be seen that its geographical location is very important. During the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, Changzhou Prefecture was the only place for Suzhou Prefecture and Songjiang Prefecture to go to Nanjing, and many officials rushed to take the exam. The ancients called this bridge Wenheng, which showed the beautiful custom of "learning from each other's strengths" in Changzhou. According to "The Language of Five Sheep", "In the west of Piling County, outside Chaojingmen, across the East-West Canal and in the southeast corner of the ancient post, there is a bridge called Wenheng." The Language of Five Sheep calls Wenheng Bridge the "crown of scholars" in Changzhou Bridge.
