Poerxiusi (founder of quantum mechanics)

introduce

In the history of physics, Poerxiusi is a person who can't be ignored. His contribution not only laid the foundation of quantum mechanics, but also provided the direction and method for later physicists to think. In this article, we will introduce Poerxiusi's life and his contribution to quantum mechanics.

Poerxiusi's life

Nielsbohr (188510/October 7-19621018) was born in Copenhagen, Denmark. He is a famous physicist. His father is a professor of anatomy at the University of Copenhagen and his mother is an educator. Poerxiusi received a good education from an early age, especially in mathematics and physics. He studied physics at the University of Copenhagen and received his Ph.D. in 1909.

Poerxiusi's contribution

Poerxiusi's most famous contribution is his contribution to quantum mechanics. At the beginning of the 20th century, physicists discovered some phenomena that could not be explained by classical physics. For example, the trajectory of electrons in atoms is not continuous, but discrete. These phenomena are called quantum effects. Poerxiusi put forward a brand-new theory, namely Bohr theory, to explain these phenomena.

Bohr theory holds that electrons in atoms can only move at a certain energy level, but not at other energy levels. When an electron jumps from one energy level to another, it will emit or absorb photons. The energy of this photon is exactly equal to the energy difference between the two energy levels before and after the electron transition. This theory explains why the light emitted and absorbed by atoms is discrete, not continuous.

Poerxiusi experiment

Poerxiusi is not only a theoretical physicist, but also conducted some experiments to verify his theory. He found that in hydrogen atoms, electrons can only move at specific energy levels, and the energy difference between these energy levels is exactly equal to the spectral line of hydrogen atoms. This experiment verified the correctness of Bohr's theory and provided a direction for later physicists to think.

The influence of Poerxiusi

Poerxiusi's contribution not only laid the foundation of quantum mechanics, but also provided the thinking direction and method for later physicists. His theory and experiments laid the foundation for the development of quantum mechanics and promoted the development of atomic physics, nuclear physics and solid state physics.
