Notice of Suspension of Opening in nanzenji during the Wuxi Epidemic Period

It is a very popular temple attraction in Wuxi, nanzenji, but recently, due to the epidemic, nanzenji in Wuxi will be closed to the outside world in August. See below for the specific notice of nanzenji's closure. Be careful not to go out during the outbreak of friends in Wuxi.

Introduction of nanzenji Scenic Spot

Nanzenji is not big, but it has a strong flavor. Historical blocks along the ancient canal in Wuxi are connected with temples. The Miaoguang Pagoda in the temple stands out among the buildings with white walls and black tiles and is a landmark in this area. After worshipping Buddha in the temple, you can go shopping and eat delicious food nearby. The night view here is also worth seeing.

Nanzenji was founded in Liang Wudi in the Southern Dynasties (A.D. 547) and the early Qing Dynasty, and its successors experienced ups and downs. The temples we see now were rebuilt in the 1980s and 1990s.

The temple gate is at the southern end, and there are only a few buildings on the north-south axis, such as Daxiong Hall. The Miaoguang Tower in the east is seven stories high. Looking at the antique building roof under the tower, overlooking the nanzenji pier on the south side of the ancient canal, we can see a picture of the ancient canal.

Dear honesty:

Recently, COVID-19's Delta virus is raging, and another confirmed case of COVID-19 was found in Jiangsu, which once again sounded the alarm for us. In order to continuously consolidate the prevention and control achievements, Wuxi nanzenji was informed by its superiors that it would be closed to the outside world on August 1 day 17: 30. Opening hours will be announced separately.

I hope everyone will actively cooperate with the epidemic prevention and control work, don't go out, don't get together or gather, and actively take personal protective measures. Everyone is at home with peace of mind, study hard and pray that the epidemic will subside as soon as possible and the country will be safe.

I wish you good health and good luck at six!
