As the gateway of southwest China and the landmark building of Guiyang, the design of Guiyang North Station embodies the theme of "tourist paradise and Guizhou impression" with modern architectural technology. The modeling extracts the elements of "double eaves" from the unique folk houses in Guizhou and combines them with the "step" lines of the local landscape: terraces and waterfalls, and outlines the "impression of Guizhou" with the combination of horizontal lines.
The comprehensive project of Guiyang North Station has a total construction area of 255,000 square meters. The total length of the station building is 418m, and the width is 236m. It consists of three floors, with the projected area of the column-free canopy of 82160m2 and the projected area of the elevated drop-off platform of 36172m2.
