Today, when people mention Adu, many people's first association is his famous song Darkness. The lyrics of this song are my tailored works for Adu.
Tailor-made sounds like a lot of effort. However, it took me only 25 minutes to complete this work that I "worked so hard". The most special thing is that the birthplace of this lyric turned out to be on the toilet lid of a small hotel in Singapore!
I got a demo of this song from Singapore Ocean Butterfly Company that day, and then I went back to my hotel to start thinking about the direction of the lyrics.
In my memory, the "magic" Dahua Hotel can only be regarded as a super mini snail shell. Because, in the room, I can't find a socket to connect the tape recorder, and the only socket is actually in the small toilet that I can't find!
Let me describe my creative space again.
There are two doors in the toilet. When the door on the left opens, it will hit the toilet seat, and the door on the right is the shower space. In other words, I turned around the room a little, and as soon as I turned on the shower faucet, I got the whole roll of toilet paper wet. In order to compose music while listening to Demo, I have no choice but to sit on the floor and use the toilet seat as a table.
In such an elegant and romantic place, what a painful thing it is to listen to such sad songs and fill in touching lyrics. It was sunny that afternoon, but I wrote a heartfelt "darkness"!
I admit that the inspiration of this song really needs the ingenious pen of karma. At that time, I had just gone through a period of low tide in my life, and my heart was shrouded in a shadow, but suddenly it dawned on me, so I passed on this full feeling through the lyrics.
Only 25 minutes later, the lyrics were written.

Adu is just a newcomer, and he has never seen a recording studio before, but when he first entered the recording studio, he was able to conquer all the technicians with his songs. This is a great thing, and it is impossible for other newcomers to appear now.
After listening to Adu's demo, many record companies also inquired about this special voice, which strengthened my determination to support Adu. However, I know more clearly that Adu is not enough to cope with everything that enters the entertainment circle. He must receive more training and make more preparations.
Since ocean butterflies Records only played the role of a production company in those years, it is necessary to find a trustworthy distribution company for Adu, so that he can receive more adequate training to face the challenge of joining the entertainment circle. Although Ocean Butterfly has negotiated with several international record companies in Taiwan Province Province about Adu's contract, I selfishly hope to help Adu find a more belonging home. In order to smoothly introduce Adu's voice into the song David, I also chose a scene and environment unique to the song.
