It is the first connecting line in the planning of "Six Horizons, Seven Verticals and Eight Connections" (referred to as "678" network) in expressway, Guizhou Province, an important part of the planning of expressway network in the whole province, and one of the key construction projects in Zunyi City in 2009 and the "county-county expressway" projects in the whole province.

The starting point of Suizun Expressway is located near Macaogou on the west side of Suiyang County, passing south through Fengjiawan, Lijiapu, Puchang, Niuxinshan, Puchang and Simian Mountain, crossing the planned Zunyi Ring Road, ending at Panjiabao in Huichuan District and connecting with Huichuan Avenue in Zhoujiawan. The total length of the highway is 3 1km, the design speed is 80 km/h, it has four lanes in both directions, the subgrade width is 2 1.5m, and the asphalt concrete pavement is adopted. The total investment of the project is 6,543.80 billion yuan. There are 4 interchanges, 2 service areas and parking areas along Niuxin, Puchang, Simianshan and Liziya. It is expected to be completed and put into use in 20 1 1 year.
Suizun expressway is the first expressway in Guizhou Province to carry out the innovation of expressway's construction management system, adopt the "multi-owner system", which is completely owned by the local authorities, organize preliminary work, raise funds, organize construction loans and take charge of construction management.
