How many districts and counties are there in Changchun?

Changchun has seven municipal districts, 1 county and three county-level cities.

1. Municipal districts: Nanguan District, Kuancheng District, Chaoyang District, Erdao District, Lvyuan District, Shuangyang District and Jiutai District;

2. County-level cities: Yushu City, dehui city City and Gongzhuling City;

3. County: Nong 'an County.

Changchun is located in the middle of Northeast Plain, at the junction of Songnen Plain and Songliao Watershed. Changchun-Siping deep fault is a main structural line separating mountains and plains, with uplift area in the east (mainly Daheishan) and subsidence area in the west, and Changchun area is located between uplift area and subsidence area. The transition of geological structure determines the diversity of landform types in Changchun, forming the landform characteristics of high in the east and low in the west.

Changchun is located in the transition zone from the eastern hilly area to the western platform plain, and the urban area is between 250 and 350 meters above sea level. There are small areas of low mountains and hills in the east of Changchun area, most of which are terraces, and the second Songhua River, Yinma River and Yitong River run through them, with flat alluvial plains on both sides of the river.

Mountainous areas account for about 9% of the total land area in Changchun, of which low mountains account for 2.56% and hills account for 6.44%. Jilin mainly includes Daheishan and Hadaling. Terraces account for about 4 1% of the total land area. Among them, flat terraces account for 35.23% and high terraces account for 5.77%. There are mainly Yushu Terrace, Changchun Terrace, Double Balcony and Youlongquan Terrace.

The plain accounts for about 50% of the total land area. Among them, valley plain accounts for 39.4%, low terrace accounts for 7.5%, and lake plain accounts for 3. 1%. There are mainly Shuangyang Basin, Songhua River Valley Plain, Lalin River Valley Plain, Yinma River Valley Plain and Nongan Lake Plain.

Changchun's climate is in the transitional zone between the eastern mountainous area and the semi-arid area of the western plain, belonging to the temperate continental humid climate type.

Although the east and south are not far from the ocean, the role of summer monsoon is weakened due to the blocking of Changbai Mountain. The west and north are flat Songliao Plain, and the Siberian polar continental air mass is unobstructed, so the climate is generally characterized by drought and windy in spring, short and warm in summer, obvious temperature difference in autumn and long and cold in winter.

The annual average temperature is 4.6℃, and the highest temperature in history can reach 40℃. Since 195 1 has meteorological records, the minimum temperature of 1970 is -36.5℃. The annual precipitation is 600-700 mm, the frost-free period is 140- 150 days, and the freezing period is 5 months.
