Origin of five elements:
As early as the Spring and Autumn Period, the idea of attribute theory was put forward, which is a cyclic number in the order of wood, fire, earth, gold and water, fixing the order of victory and defeat and life, forming a contradictory unified model between things, and embodying the internal structural relationship of things and the idea of overall grasp.
During this period, Neijing applied the theory of five elements to medicine, which played an important role in promoting the study of the unique theoretical system of traditional Chinese medicine and sorting out a large number of clinical experiences accumulated by the ancients.
Significance of Five Elements Theory:
The theory of five elements adopts the image comparison method, which simply divides everything in the world into five categories. On the basis of the attributes of five elements, we use the restraint relationship of life to explain and explain the relations and changes between things. Like yin and yang, there are mutual constraints between the five elements. Mutual restriction is two inseparable aspects of everything.
The theory of five elements is the core of China traditional culture. Everything in the universe is composed of the movement and cyclic changes of five basic elements, namely wood, fire, earth and water, which is generally regarded as ancient naive materialism's philosophy.
In terms of human body, the five elements represent the five internal organs, each of which belongs to its place; A- gallbladder, B- liver, C- small intestine, D- heart, E- stomach, F- spleen, G- large intestine, Xin-lung, nonyl-bladder meridian and decyl-kidney must be familiar with these ten foundations; But remember, Yin and Yang may be each other's appearances.
