Yulin-Shaanxi-Mongolia-expressway is an important part of Arongqi-Beihai line, an inter-provincial highway passage for the development of western Shaanxi, an important part of the main skeleton of the "Mi" shaped highway network in Shaanxi Province, and an important passage from Shaanxi to Inner Mongolia. This project was approved by the Ministry of Communications (Document No.327 [2004] of the Ministry of Communications) and included in the key highway construction projects in Shaanxi Province in 2004. The completion of expressway in Shaanxi and Mongolia is of great significance for implementing the strategy of developing the western region, speeding up the construction of energy and chemical bases in northern Shaanxi, developing tourism resources, improving regional traffic conditions, promoting the economic development of Yulin City, driving people along the line out of poverty and improving the national road network structure.
Shaanxi-Mongolia expressway is located in Yuyang District and Shenmu County, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province. The route starts from Sunjiawan Village in Yuyang District, passes through Khan and Daoze Bay in Xiaoji to the north, along the east side of the completed original half of the highway, passes through Heishize, Majiagou, Hongheliang, Mengjiawan, Xiaohaotu, Changjitu and Shibantai to the Shaanxi side of Mangaitu River on the Shaanxi-Mongolia border, and passes through Dongsheng, which is under construction in Inner Mongolia, to Mongolia.
The total length of Shaanxi-Mongolia expressway is 88. 1 km, the calculated driving speed is 100 km/h, the minimum curve radius is 1500 m, the maximum longitudinal slope is 2.435%, the subgrade width is 26(35) m, and it is bidirectional and four lanes, fully interconnected and fully enclosed. Along the way, it passes through 6 towns and 24 natural villages, covering an area of 8543.7 mu. It is planned to start construction on June 5438+00, 2004, and be completed and opened to traffic on June 5438+00, 2006, with a planned construction period of 3 years.
