First of all, you need to know which wireless signal needs to be expanded with Tengda A 12 wireless extender? And the password of this wireless signal. This problem needs to be solved by everyone themselves.

For example, in this demonstration, I will use Tengda A 12 to expand this wireless signal. Its wireless name is www. 192ly.com, and its wireless password is 192ly.com.

If you are not sure, you can log on to the settings page of the main router, find and open it? Wireless settings? Or? Wi-Fi settings? Check the wireless name and password of the main router, as shown in the figure below.

Step 2: Connect the wireless signal of Tengda A 12.

When your Tengda A 12 extender is connected to the power supply, it will send out the default wireless signal; The sticker on Tengda A 12 fuselage can see the name of the default wireless signal, which has no password.

When setting up Tengda A 12 extender with laptop, you need to connect the laptop to this default wireless signal first. Settings can only be made after connection.

Connect the laptop to the default wireless signal of Tengda A 12.

Important note:

Please don't worry, when your laptop is connected to the default signal of Tengda A 12, it is normal.

Step 3: Set Tengda A 12 expansion signal.

1. Open a browser on your laptop and type: re.tenda.cn? Or? 192. 168.0.254? , you can set the interface of Tengda A 12 extender.

Enter: re.tenda.cn or 192 438+068.0.254 in the browser.

Possible problems:

2. At this time, Tengda A 12 expander will automatically scan the nearby wireless signals; In the scanning result, select the wireless name of the main router->; Then click Next, as shown in the figure below.

Select the wireless name of the primary router.

3. Enter the wireless password of the main router and click Finish, as shown in the figure below.

Important note:

In this interface, the option "The wireless name and password of the extender are consistent with the superior wireless signal" is selected by default, that is, the wireless name and password of Tengda A 12 extender are exactly the same as the superior wireless signal.

But in this place, you can also turn off this option, and then manually set the wireless name and wireless password of Tengda A 12 extender, which may be inconsistent with the parameters of the superior wireless signal, as shown in the figure below.

In addition, set Tengda A 12' s own wireless name and wireless password.

4. At this point, the system will automatically expand the wireless signal of the main router, as shown in the figure below.

Tips:

(1). If the option "The wireless name and password of the extender are consistent with the wireless signal of the superior" is selected in the setting of step 3.3, the laptop can be directly connected to the wireless signal of the original main router.

(2) If it is set in step 3.3. The option "The wireless name and password of the expander are consistent with the superior wireless signal" is not selected;

The wireless name and password of Tengda A 12 extender are set separately; At this point, you need to connect your laptop to this wireless signal set separately.
