Nanjing Institute of Information Technology (hereinafter referred to as "Nanjing Institute of Information") is an undergraduate university jointly organized by the People's Government of Jiangsu Province and the National Development and Reform Commission.
The school was founded in 1985, formerly known as Jiangsu University of Posts and Telecommunications, and later renamed Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology. Now it has developed into a multi-disciplinary and comprehensive applied technology undergraduate college with work as the center and combining engineering, management, law and literature. Up to now, Nanjing Institute of Information has trained more than 20,000 outstanding graduates.
