The ideological and political education in colleges and universities is facing the challenge of economic globalization and cultural diversification and the social background of further reform and opening up. It is urgent for ideological and political workers in colleges and universities to inherit and carry forward the fine tradition of the party's ideological and political education, thoroughly study the new situation and problems of college students' ideological changes, update their concepts, open up new ways and create new methods with innovative spirit, and enhance the pertinence and effectiveness of ideological and political education. The innovation of ideological and political education needs to establish the following ideas:
1, the concept of people: the object of ideological and political education in colleges and universities is people, individual students with strong sense of independence, self-awareness and competition. Under the guidance of Scientific Outlook on Development, the ideological and political education in colleges and universities should adhere to the principle of students' development, be close to reality, life and students, and realize the ideological and political education of college students to a higher level and achieve practical results.

Ideological and political education and quality education for college students should be guided by Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory and Theory of Three Represents, centered on ideal and belief education, focused on patriotism education, based on ideological and moral construction, and focused on quality education, and strive to explore effective ways and methods of ideological and political education for college students under the new situation, so as to continuously improve the pertinence, effectiveness, attraction and appeal of education.
Since March 2005, East China University of Science and Technology, in accordance with the spirit of the central document 1. 16, established the concept of comprehensive, coordinated and sustainable development, and reflected the characteristics and advantages of the work. On the basis of summarizing and combing the previous work, we thought and explored how to project the work content and pay attention to the new construction and expansion of the project. According to the goal of "gathering personality aura, gathering team wisdom, and building a harmonious life with the help of science", we will focus on implementing six quality education projects, including honesty and self-discipline education project, gratitude and responsibility education project, frustration and success education project, appreciation and self-confidence education project, personality and team education project, and practice and innovation education project.
1. Strengthen the "honesty and self-discipline education" of college students.
Honesty and trustworthiness is the traditional virtue of the Chinese nation and one of the most important norms in traditional morality. It is not only the foundation of standing in the world, but also the cornerstone of inheriting modern civilization. As high-quality talents receiving higher education, college students shoulder the historical responsibility of revitalizing China, a developing country, and their honesty will have an important impact on the whole society. As an important part of morality, honesty is a kind of social consciousness, a kind of quality and one of the essential basic qualities for college students. Therefore, it is an urgent task for ideological and political educators in colleges and universities to strengthen honesty education and build an honest campus. Generally speaking, the mainstream of contemporary college students' honesty and moral status is positive. However, with the prevalence of social credit crisis, the problem of college students' lack of credit has become increasingly prominent, mainly in the process of learning, employment and student loans.
To carry out college students' honesty education, we must first establish college students' honesty view and take honesty education as an important starting point of ideological and political work in colleges and universities. Second, we should strengthen the construction of teachers' own integrity and win the trust of students. It is necessary to pay attention to teachers' self-construction, cultivate a team of teachers with excellent ideological and political skills, excellent work style and good faith and morality, learn from each other's strong points, and achieve the goal of making the school's integrity construction receive the ideal effect in a short time, making integrity a code of conduct for teachers and students to abide by together, with a harmonious relationship between superiors and subordinates and a good atmosphere. Third, strengthen the construction of credit system and establish a disciplinary system for dishonesty. Fourth, strengthen the construction of honest and trustworthy propaganda and incentive mechanism. Fifth, strengthen the integrity legislation of the whole society as soon as possible, so that integrity can be governed by laws, and strengthen law enforcement, so that dishonesty is not only morally condemned, but also punished by realistic laws.
Since March 2005, East China University of Science and Technology has been carrying out the project of "Honesty and Self-discipline Education" among college students with the slogan of "Honesty, Changing Bad Habits, Building an Image and Being a Model and Pillar of Society" and the theme of "Knowledge Makes Life, Honesty Makes the Future". By organizing the whole school students to seriously study the "College Students' Integrity Convention", we will carry out collective signature commitment activities in class; Invite experts to carry out "Integrity Forum" activities with the theme of "Integrity, Growth and Success" in combination with traditional culture and education in China; Organize students to carry out "Student Integrity Forum" activities from their own perspectives such as study, employment, work-study program, tuition loan and repayment; Establishing and perfecting students' credit files and other activities have made credit awareness deeply rooted in people's hearts, and more students have taken the initiative to participate in the credit action. It has also established our school's "credit" brand, and truly integrated the spiritual essence of "keeping credit, changing bad habits, building an image and being a model and pillar of society" into students' daily study and life, forming their lasting living standards and cultivating the excellent quality of China students.
2. Strengthen the "frustration and success education" of college students.
Contemporary college students often show resistance, attack, indifference, anxiety, depression, stubbornness, degeneration and other adverse reactions when facing setbacks. College student workers should help college students correctly attribute setbacks, guide them to correctly understand setbacks, optimize the environmental atmosphere, tolerate the bad behavior of frustrated people, and strengthen frustration education. Since March 2005, East China University of Science and Technology has started the project of "Frustration and Success Education" among college students with the theme of "Frustration is wealth, success is the starting point, and now we start again". 3. Strengthen the "appreciation and self-confidence education" of college students.

Besides pointing out their shortcomings, we should also tap their "bright spots", which is one of our duties to train students and help them become talents. At the same time, give them more opportunities to show and demonstrate, actively guide, influence and expect them, and let "poor students" work hard. And appreciation means attaching importance to the appreciation of students' talents, so that students can give full play to their talents and gain knowledge and skills in success. Appreciation education can best embody the principle of teaching students in accordance with their aptitude. We should treat students with sincere love, discover their "bright spots" with a microscope, appreciate their advantages with a magnifying glass, comprehensively understand, deeply study and scientifically evaluate students, so as to better promote the development of students' creative thinking and the formation of positive and sound personality.
Since March 2005, our East China University of Science and Technology has carried out the "Appreciation and Self-confidence Education" project with the theme of "Discover your beauty and look at the world around you with appreciation". By carrying out class activities on the theme of "appreciating yourself and others" and the theme speech contest of "I appreciate, I am confident"; A series of activities of "I love me" mental health education week are carried out on May 25th every year; Instructors and class teachers are required to learn to evaluate each student with appreciation, carry out the work of "appreciating conversations" and "appreciating records", guide college students to discover, explore and appreciate the beautiful things around them, position and change their roles, cultivate students' awareness of "appreciating themselves, others, the environment and establishing self-confidence", advocate the spirit of striving for the first place and create a harmonious group of college students.
4. Strengthen the "personality and team education" of college students.

The talents trained by this mode of education are difficult to meet the needs of the development of modern knowledge economy with high technology as its main competitiveness. The society requires higher education to implement the education of cultivating talents with sound personality, independent personality and creative personality-team education. Personality and team education is an educational thought and practice. Its main goal is to cultivate talents with good personality quality, and focus on excavating students' potential personality and strengthening students' dominant personality, preventing and correcting the formation of bad personality, adapting students' personality to the development of society, and finally fully embodying their personal values in the process of realizing social values. At the same time, they can learn nutrition from the cooperation with the team, develop their personality and create individuals full of vitality and creativity to adapt to the development of society, politics, economy and culture.
East China University of Science and Technology in our school started the project of "Personality and Team Education" among college students with the theme of "publicizing self-personality, advocating striving for the first place and gathering team spirit" in March 2005. Since March 2005, East China University of Science and Technology has carried out the project of "Gratitude and Responsibility Education" among college students with the slogan of "Gratitude Facing Responsibility" and the theme of "Gratitude in Heart and Reward in Action". 6. Strengthen the "practical and innovative education" of college students.

Pay attention to the diversity of forms: in ideological and political education and quality education in universities, we should design and organize activities according to students' needs and interests.
