On July 3rd, 2020, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Water Resources jointly issued the Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Coordinated Development of Intelligent Building and Building Industrialization.
Composition:
The system composition and basic functions of intelligent building are mainly composed of three parts, namely, building automation (also called building equipment automation, BA), communication automation (CA) and office automation (OA), which are usually called "3A". They are the most important system components in intelligent buildings and the basic functions that must be possessed.

The original national standard "Design Standard of Intelligent Building" (GB/T503 14-2000) defined intelligent building as "building as a platform, building automation equipment BA, office automation OA and communication network system CA, integrating structure, system, service and management and their optimized combination to provide people with a safe, efficient, comfortable and convenient building environment".
3. Investment ratio
According to statistics, in 20 12 years, the investment in intelligent buildings accounts for about 5%-8% of the total construction investment, and some of them can reach 10%, mainly including the investment in intelligent systems of residential quarters and public buildings.
In 20 12 years, the proportion of intelligent buildings in new buildings is 70% in the United States, 60% in Japan and less than 40% in China. Calculated by 86 billion yuan in 20 12 years, even if there is no growth in the next few years, the market scale in 20 12-2020 will reach 1 trillion.
