Shaodong Railway Station is the abbreviation of Shaodong Railway Station, which is located at the northernmost part of Hongling Road, Shaodong City, Hunan Province. After that, Xinlou-Shao Railway and Huaishaoheng Railway passed the station. Xinlou-Shao Railway is a first-class double-track electrified railway of China Railway, with a design speed of 200 kilometers per hour. Huaishaoheng Railway has a design speed of 200 kilometers per hour, starting from Huaihua, a transportation hub in western Hunan, to Hengyang in the east. Shaodong, a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Hunan Province, is managed by Shaoyang City, alias Zhaoyang.
