Brief introduction of Guangzhou Huadu Port

Huadu District of Guangzhou is located in the south-central part of Guangdong Province, at the northern end of the Pearl River Delta, with Conghua in the east, Guangzhou in the south, Sanshui in the west, Nanhai in the southwest, Qingyuan in the north and Hong Kong and Macao in the south. Geographical location is very important, known as the "provincial capital barrier, the throat of North and South Guangdong". It is not only the traffic intersection of the Pearl River Delta, but also the bridge and hub connecting the Pearl River Delta and the mainland. It has a well-developed three-dimensional transportation network by land, sea and air, and is the intersection of three national highways (105, 106, 107) and five expressway (Airport Expressway, Guangqing Expressway, Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway, Guangzhou North Second Ring Expressway and Guangzhou North Third Ring Expressway). The Beijing-Guangzhou line passes through the border, and Guangzhou North Station is in Huadu. In the future, Guangzhou will also build two urban subway lines and/kloc-0 suburban train lines to connect the urban area with Huadu. Guangzhou New Baiyun International Airport, the most modern aviation hub port in China, is also located in Huadu, which can fly directly.

Historically, Huadu District (formerly Huaxian County) belonged to Panyu in Han Dynasty, Nanhai County in Sui Dynasty and Panyu and Nanhai County in Song Dynasty. In the 25th year of Kangxi in Qing Dynasty (A.D. 1686), Nanhai and Panyu counties were partially selected. Because the county seat is close to Huashan Mountain, it is named "Huaxian County" and belongs to guangzhou fu, where Hong Xiuquan, the revolutionary leader of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, was born. During the period of the Republic of China, Hua County was mainly under the direct control of the province. After the establishment of People's Republic of China (PRC), it successively belonged to Jiangbei District, Zhujiang District, Peyo Administrative District and Foshan District. April 1960 was designated as a county in Guangzhou. 1June 8, 1993, with the approval of the state, the county was withdrawn and the city was established, named "Huadu", which was entrusted by the provincial people's government to Guangzhou for custody. On May 2, 20001day, it was approved by the state to withdraw from the city and set up a district, becoming Huadu District of Guangzhou. Huadu has become an administrative region under the jurisdiction of Guangzhou, which provides the necessary space for speeding up the construction of modern Guangzhou, and also injects new strength and opportunities into the development of Huadu.

Huadu District, with a total area of 968 square kilometers, is high in the north and low in the south, with hills in the north, shallow hills in the middle and Guanghua Plain in the south, forming a rectangle inclined from northeast to southwest. Liuxi River flows east and Bajiang River flows west. Huadu District has a subtropical monsoon climate, with no heat in summer and no cold in winter, with an average annual temperature of 265,438 0.7 degrees Celsius. There is plenty of sunshine, abundant rainfall, evergreen vegetation and flowers in full bloom in all seasons. Huadu District has eight towns (streets) under its jurisdiction: Xinhua, Huashan, Huadong, Chini, Tanbu, Shiling, Timian and Yayao. Xinhua, where the district committee and government are located, is the satellite city of Guangzhou, only 22 kilometers away from the central city of Guangzhou.

Huadu has a short history, but its cultural heritage is not thin. According to the cultural relics survey in the area, there are more than 400 cultural relics clues such as monuments and sites; Hong Xiuquan, the leader of the peasant uprising in the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom in history, was from Lu Guan Village, Xinhua Town, Huadu District. Major historical events such as the 18 martyrs in Huanghuagang and the agricultural movement in Huaxian County during the Great Revolution are telling us the long and heavy story of Huadu yesterday, which has strong cultural and humanistic wisdom.

After the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), Huadu was further developed. From underdeveloped areas, it has become a modern new city with beautiful scenery, excellent investment environment, prosperous economy, suitable for entrepreneurial development and life, and the integration of mountains, water and countryside. It has entertainment and leisure facilities in line with international standards and has excellent development potential. Looking to the future, Huadu will have a better tomorrow.
