trough
Langgu is located in Yanjiazhai, Longzhou Township, Jingbian County, Yulin City. The trough is a Danxia landform. The red sandstone here presents a variety of postures and colors under the erosion of wind and rain, and different views will be presented at different angles and times. On a sunny day after the rain, the color of red sandstone will be more vivid, and at the same time, special light and shadow will be formed in the sun, and the scenery will be spectacular and strange.
Tongwancheng
Tongwancheng is located in Baichengzi Village, Hongdun Street Township, Jingbian County, Yulin City. Tongwan City was built in 4 13 A.D. and took five years to complete. It is the capital of Daxia Kingdom of Helian Bobo, a Xiongnu aristocrat in the south of Eastern Jin Dynasty. Because of its white walls, the locals also call it Baicheng Zi, and because it was built in Helian Bobo, it is also called Liancheng. Today, some city walls, gates, horse faces and watchtowers can still be seen in the ruins, but the buildings and roads in the city have disappeared, leaving only the tall rammed earth abutment.
Zhenbeitai
Zhenbeitai is located in Yuyang District, Yulin City. Zhenbeitai is the beacon tower on the Great Wall. Zhenbeitai was built in the Ming Dynasty (1607) and is one of the fortresses in the middle section of the Great Wall in the Ming Dynasty. It is four stories high, and there are garrison barracks and soldiers in the city wall. Some sites still exist today. There are stone carvings in the coupon cave on the second floor, written by Tu Zongjun, governor of Yansui in Ming Dynasty. There was a lookout shed on the fourth floor, which collapsed in the late Qing Dynasty. Climbing to the top of the stage overlooking Yulin City and Hongshixia Reservoir, the scenery is spectacular.
red rock canyon
Hongshixia is located 5 kilometers north of Yuyang District, Yulin City. Hongshi Gorge is also called Xiongshi Gorge, and the Great Wall passes through it. There are cliff stone carvings in the canyon, which are called "forest of steles on the mountain". Most of these moments were made in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. There are still Buddhist temples and grottoes dug in the Song and Yuan Dynasties. Unfortunately, except for some paintings and sculptures in caves, others no longer exist. The movie "Ashes of Time" was shot here. In addition, 1472 The Guangze Canal dug halfway up the canyon is also amazing, and the surging Yuxi River is also a spectacular scenery in the canyon.
