Chinese characters were used in Vietnam before 1905, so the Vietnamese are no strangers to the name "Hanlin". There were also Hanlin and Hanlin Academy in ancient times. Hanlin Academy is a ministerial unit in Vietnam, and its researchers are all civil servants. In addition, the Imperial Academy is also very active in foreign exchanges, especially with academic institutions in the United States and Southeast Asia. ?
China studies all three major research directions: contemporary issues in China, China's history and culture, and Vietnam-China relations. Among them, the contemporary problems in China are the focus of research. The main reason for this arrangement is that I hope that by studying China's history and culture, I can deeply understand China's contemporary problems, thus promoting the further development of Vietnam-China relations.
