National Computer Rank Examination (NCRE) is a national computer proficiency examination system approved by the Ministry of Education and sponsored by the Examination Center of the Ministry of Education, which is geared to the society and used to test candidates' computer application knowledge and ability.
NCRE belongs to the social certification examination, which is generally handled by the social examination department and the self-study examination office under the provincial and municipal education examination institutes.
Each test center of NCRE is approved by the provincial examination institute and reported to the examination center of the Ministry of Education, and each test center has a unique test center code.

2. When will 2.NCRE be registered? Where to register? How much is the registration fee? What is the registration procedure? What are the precautions for registration? Can non-students apply for the exam? Can I make up the application if I miss the registration time?
Generally speaking, registration will be made in June and July in the first half of the year and in 1 1 and 65438+February in the second half. Specific to different places, different cities in the same province are different, and different test sites in the same city are not exactly the same.
NCRE has test sites in all provinces and cities in China, generally in colleges and universities. If it is not in the list, you can consult your local education examination institute.
The NCRE registration fee is set by the provincial price departments themselves. For details, please consult the test center or the local education examination department.
You need to bring your ID card and take photos on the spot. Besides, don't forget to bring money.
Matters needing attention in registration: check personal information one by one, including name, ID number, subject and category (whether to make up the exam or not). Once you make a mistake, it will be very troublesome in the future.
Although NCRE is located in colleges and universities, it is actually open to the whole society. People and citizens in China can apply for NCRE regardless of their age, occupation, education and other backgrounds.
Candidates who miss the registration time at the registration point can directly contact the local examination institute or the self-study examination office to register. Generally, the deadline there is relatively late. If not, there is no way out.
3. Can I apply for a new Band 4 in April 2008? What is the test paper structure of the new Band 4? When will the make-up exam for the old Band 4 be taken in September 2007?

4. When is the annual examination time of 4.NCRE? How long is the NCRE certificate valid? When is the exam in the first half of 2008?
The latest regulations: all subjects in grades one to four of NCRE are tested twice a year. The written test time in the first half of the year is the morning of the second Saturday in April, and the written test time in the second half of the year is the morning of the penultimate Saturday in September. The computer test begins in the afternoon of the written test (the first level begins in the morning). The duration of the computer test is set at five days (until Wednesday).
The certificate is universal and valid for a long time. NCRE certificate is different from soft test certificate, and annual inspection is not required.
The examination time in the first half of 2008 is April 12.
5. If the examination time does not conflict, can I apply for two subjects or different items of two subjects at the same time?
Candidates can only apply for one subject at a time, that is, there can only be one admission ticket number at a time.
6. Which subject should I apply for? Do you need to apply step by step from low level to high level? Do many subjects at the same level need to pass all of them to get the certificate?
NCRE subjects have little connection with university majors, and the specific choice depends on personal preferences. It should be noted that some NCRE subject certificates can replace self-taught subjects, and some second-level subjects will also be used in the computer examination of Grade 3 and Grade 4. Candidates are advised to consider their future needs on the basis of voluntary choice.
All levels and subjects of NCRE are free to choose and apply directly. You don't need to pass the exam from a lower level to a higher level. Even if you haven't passed the exam, you can apply for Band 4 directly, as long as you are sure.
There is no connection between the subjects of the same level, and you can get the certificate of the corresponding level and subject by applying independently. Different subjects at the same level are examinations in different knowledge fields at the same level.
7. Which subject certificate is the most effective in the same grade? Which subject has the largest number of applicants?
The validity of certificates between the same grades can only be compared from the aspect of replacing self-taught subjects. Strictly speaking, the certificate effect of all subjects in the same level is definitely the same, but some subjects are more effective and advantageous than others because they can replace the self-taught subjects. According to the statistics of this website, the subjects with the largest number of applicants at all levels are: level 1 MS-OFFICE, level 2 C language, level 3 network technology and level 4 network engineer.

9. Is there a unified teaching material and outline? Where to buy it?

10, I don't have a computer foundation, how can I learn? Is NCRE difficult? How long will it take to pass?
If you keep asking questions like this, you may never get old. NCRE is an examination for non-professionals. At some levels, some subjects may be difficult to get started, but as long as you work hard, you will certainly gain something. The length of study varies from person to person. Generally, 200 hours of concentrated study is almost enough. If you are diligent, you may get twice the result with half the effort, but if you are lazy and like to talk nonsense, it will take longer.
1 1, how long did you keep your NCRE score? What is the make-up exam? Can I make-up exams across provinces and cities? How much is the make-up exam?
NCRE make-up exam and single-subject score appointment refer to the subjects whose exam contents are computer exam and written exam, which is meaningless. There is only one NCRE exam, so there is no make-up exam, and the next exam can only be considered as a full exam. The scores of NCRE subjects are kept once until the next corresponding subject exam. At present, NCRE exams at all levels are held twice a year (including the new CET-4), so its single-subject qualified scores are kept for half a year (the old CET-4 is kept until September 2008).
In NCRE subjects, if the exam is a computer exam and a written exam, you can only pass one of them at a time, and you can keep the passing score. You only need to make up the other exam. If the make-up exam is still unqualified, the original reserved score will be invalid. Those who fail the two tests will not be counted as make-up exams, and the results will not be retained.
NCRE can make-up exams across provinces. Candidates are required to register for the make-up exam with the "National Computer Rank Examination Candidates' Retention Score Transfer Sheet" issued by the original province.
The charging standard of NCRE examination is formulated by the price departments of provinces and cities. Make-up candidates only need to pay the registration examination fee for failing the exam, and the test center shall not charge extra fees without authorization.
12, what is the use of NCRE certificate? Can you find a good job through it?
NCRE is not a professional qualification examination, so I'm afraid I can't find a corresponding job with a certificate. Certificates can be used as proof of learning experience or as a hobby (some people like textual research). People who test them have various purposes. Personally, I think it is a bridge that allows you to discover your interests and abilities and lead you into non-professional fields. If you hope to get a high salary and higher vocational education through it, you will be disappointed. I suggest you choose a qualification exam such as soft exam or a certification exam such as Cisco.
13, how to score NCRE? How can I get an excellent certificate? Is there a certificate that only passes one of the written test and the computer test?
NCRE has made corresponding achievements in all subjects and projects. 0-59 points: failed, 60-79 points: qualified, 80-89 points: good, 90- 100 points: excellent. At present, there are only two kinds of certificates: qualified and excellent, and those with good grades are regarded as passing. You must pass all the items in the corresponding examination subjects to obtain the certificate. There is no such thing as a single certificate. The qualified scores of a single subject have certificates, which are used for make-up exams and do not have the effect of certificates.
14, I forgot the admission ticket number. How to check the results and get the certificate?

15. Can I reissue my lost certificate?
If the certificate is lost or damaged due to personal reasons, it will not be reissued. If NCRE candidates lose their qualification certificate, they can issue a national unified score certificate through the local education examination department, which is uniformly produced by the National Education Examination Center and has the same effect as the certificate. 16. What if the name and ID number on the certificate are wrong?
In the certificate information, there are errors in the candidate's name, ID number and score. The examination center shall verify the registration form when the candidates register and report it to the examination center of the Ministry of Education for replacement. If candidates fill in the wrong information for personal reasons, they will not be replaced.
17. How to check the authenticity of the certificate?

18. National Computer Rank Examination Questions and Answers
(1) Q: Why are the books I read so different from the contents of the exam?
A: The National Computer Rank Examination at all levels is divided into two parts: written examination and computer examination. In addition to the content of the language or category corresponding to each level, the written test also has some basic computer knowledge, which is relatively extensive. So pay attention to this when reading a book. Especially for the second-level examination, the examination center of the Ministry of Education specially organized and compiled the book "Second-level Tutorial-Basic Knowledge", which I believe will be helpful to everyone's examination.
(2) Q: I don't know how to call out the examination questions during the computer exam.
A: In the part of the national computer grade examination, the examination center of the Ministry of Education specially organized experts to develop a special examination environment. In general, each test center should provide a computer-based test simulation environment for candidates after registration. As a candidate, you should also take an active part. As a pre-test exercise, it is of great help to the exam. Years of examination experience tells us that the passing rate of students who have participated in mock exams is 20% higher than that of those who have not.
(3) Q: Why do I think I did well in the computer exam, but I failed when the results were announced?
Answer: This reason is very complicated. First, under normal circumstances, candidates are required to put all the questions in a directory named after their own test numbers (automatically generated by the system). If you don't put your answers in this directory, even if you do well, there will be no result. Second, save the questions after you finish the exams at all levels, otherwise it will also affect your grades.
