According to the "Regulations on Function Allocation, Internal Structure and Staffing of Taiyuan Civil Affairs Bureau", the main responsibilities of Taiyuan Civil Affairs Bureau are:
(a) to formulate the city's civil affairs development plan, annual plan and policy, draft relevant local laws and regulations, and organize their implementation.
