Brief Introduction of Chongqing Health Information Center

Chongqing Health Information Center is a health professional information organization directly under Chongqing Municipal Health Bureau, and undertakes the construction and maintenance of Chongqing Municipal Health Bureau's e-government system, and performs the government function of integrating the city's medical and health information resources. The predecessor of this center is chongqing medical Institute of Information. After more than 20 years of construction, it has developed into a large-scale comprehensive medical and health professional information institution in southwest China. In order to meet the requirements of accelerating the development and construction of health informatization in the new period, it was renamed as Chongqing Health Information Center in July 2002. The center has perfect modern information technology means, good service conditions for health information collection, collation, analysis, research, transmission and promotion, and strong professional and technical force. The center has comprehensive information department, medical library, literature retrieval room, computer room, editorial department of chongqing medical, editorial department of clinical biochemistry and laboratory science abroad, editorial department of laboratory medicine and clinic, comprehensive business development department and other business departments. It is the only medical and health novelty retrieval consulting service institution designated by the Ministry of Health in Chongqing.
