Why don't figs bear fruit?

Figs are self-pollinated and do not need pollination from other trees. Fig trees, like other fruit trees, have a certain age from seedling transplanting to flowering and fruiting, but different tree species have different ages. For example, peach trees are three years, plum trees are four years, and olive trees are seven years; Ficus carica was transplanted in the same year, but the first three years were the result of learning, and only a few fruits were produced, and a large number of fruits were produced after three years.

Figs (figs? Lynn. ) is a flowering plant, belonging to Ficus of Moraceae, which mainly grows in some tropical and temperate places and belongs to subtropical deciduous small trees. At present, there are 800 varieties of fig, most of which are evergreen varieties, and only those growing in temperate regions are deciduous varieties. The fruit is bulbous with a small hole in the tail, and the pollen is spread by wasps. Also known as Aji ("Youyangza", translated from Persian: anjir), figs can be processed and dried in addition to fresh food and medicine, such as preserved fruit, jam, fruit juice, fruit tea, fruit wine, beverage and canned food. Dried figs are rich in sweetness and do not contain any chemical additives. Flowerless fruit juices and drinks have unique fragrance and are suitable for all ages. Ficus carica is a good ornamental tree species in gardens and courtyard greening because of its lush foliage and elegant state. Planted and produced that year, it is one of the best potted fruit trees. If we vigorously develop fig bonsai, the benefits will be very obvious, and it is one of the potted fruit trees with the highest profit rate at present. In the Bible (New Testament), there are also stories of figs and Jesus (four gospels).
