At the opening ceremony, the State Forestry Administration and Akhtali Zoo signed an implementation plan for giant panda scientific research cooperation, and the mayors of Dujiangyan and Akhtali also signed a memorandum of friendly cooperation.
According to the relevant documents signed by China and Finland, Warburg and Jin Baobao will live in Finland for 15 years. This is the first pair of giant pandas from China who settled in northern Europe.
It is reported that both giant pandas were born in Bifengxia Base, Ya 'an, China Giant Panda Conservation and Research Center, and they are a man and a woman, who are undertaking the mission of "spreading branches and leaves" in Finland. Among them, the giant panda "Huabao" is male, born in July of 13, and currently weighs 1 10 kg. The giant panda "Jin Baobao" is a female, born on September 20th, 20 14, and currently weighs 105kg.
