On February 27th, 2023, Hainan Airlines won the title of "SKYTRAX five-star airline" for the first time 12.
On June 20, 2023, during the Paris Air Show, the 2023 World Aviation Award was announced. 1995, successfully issued foreign shares and became the first Sino-foreign joint venture airline in China;
1997, Hainan Airlines changed its name to Hainan Airlines Co., Ltd.;
1998, introduced the first Boeing 737-800 aircraft in China and Asia-Pacific region;

In 2002, the first dual-channel wide-body passenger plane B767 luxury passenger plane came out.
On June 28th, 2023, direct flights between China HNA and Shenzhen resumed.
From May 16, 2024, direct flights between Chongqing and Seattle were officially resumed. On May 29th, Hainan Airlines resumed direct flights from Shenzhen to Vienna. In May, the Xining-Hohhot-Dalian route operated by Hainan Airlines was opened. On June 24th, Hainan Airlines resumed direct flights from Beijing to Prague. On June 18, according to Hainan Airlines Holdings Limited, with the direct flight HU792 1 from Shanghai Pudong to Brussels successfully arriving at Brussels International Airport, Hainan Airlines' route from Shanghai Pudong to Brussels set sail smoothly.
