What does cism mean?

CISM, namely "Certified Information Security Officer" (CISM), is the basic information security skills certification training conducted by China Information Security Evaluation Center.

CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) certification is designed for information security managers and professionals in charge of information security management, ensuring that Certification staff delivered to senior management has expertise in effective security management and consulting. The certification is business-oriented, focusing on information risk management, while taking into account management, design and technical security issues in theory. CISM has become a globally recognized symbol of excellence in information security and is unique in the information security certification market. At present,18,000 professionals have obtained this certification.

CISM certification assesses professional skills in the following areas:

1, information security governance

2. Information risk management

3. Information security software development

4, information security software management

5. Emergency management and response

In order to obtain CISM certification, information security professionals must do the following:

1, successfully completed the CISM exam.

2. Abide by the code of professional ethics formulated by ISACA.

3. Provide valid certification materials of five years' working experience in the field of information security and three years' management experience in related fields (or related similar experience).

4. Participate in CISM vocational continuing education program (after obtaining certification)

Since the establishment of CISM, more than 86,000 professionals have passed the certification. More than 10000 professionals have passed CISM certification.
