The scorching sun in July tempered salty sweat and burned our fiery passion. On July 8th, under the leadership of Mr Zong and the person in charge of Shimen, we arrived safely in Jiazhen Town, Shimen County, where we were studying, and merged into a relatively good local hotel. Everyone is looking forward to and thinking about the next day's research activities. From the 9th to 1 these days, with the arrangement and cooperation of the relevant persons in charge of the local citrus office and remediation office, we completed this investigation task sincerely, rigorously and meticulously. This time, we investigated Jia Zhen's 10 village and collected soil and leaves from 8 different areas. In the investigation, we learned something about local citrus cultivation and found some problems. I summarize these situations and problems as follows:
1. At present, the citrus varieties of Jia Zhen are mainly Miyagawa Wenzhou tangerine, and the tangerine and sweet orange with large planting area have been basically replaced by tangerine. We know from the mouth of the orange man that oranges are easier to manage, easier to sell and more profitable than oranges and sweet oranges. The local citrus planting area is scattered, there is no large-scale planting and there is a lack of unified management.
2. Jia Zhen's citrus cultivation method is mainly deep grass cultivation, of course, there are also a few crops interplanting. After the paddy field was changed to dry land, the proportion of citrus planted was relatively high, and the growth was better, and the fruit setting rate was higher. However, in the field investigation, we found that in some village groups, the row spacing of citrus trees is dense, and the branches and leaves of adjacent plants obviously cross, which is not conducive to the management of orange orchards or the picking and transportation of fruits. At the same time, due to the lack of light and ventilation for a long time, some gray leaves, moldy leaves and yellow leaves will also be produced. In most villages, irrigation water is insufficient, the irrigation zone is not smooth, and the methods are backward, mainly irrigation.
3. Jia Zhen's citrus sales model is mainly door-to-door acquisition by dealers, and some village groups have joined cooperatives to manage sales in a unified way. Due to the grading picking and sales of citrus, the purchase price is also different. Sometimes high-grade citrus can be sold to 1 yuan/kg, and poor citrus can only be sold to 02 yuan/kg. According to our investigation and the feedback of some orange farmers, the problem of sales and price of citrus is the problem they face in citrus cultivation. How can we solve this problem? I think we should consider it from two aspects.
(1), improve the quality and appearance of citrus, build a citrus brand, form its own unique competitive advantage in the citrus market, build a citrus industrial chain and shorten the citrus sales chain.
(2) The government should increase direct services and support for agriculture, rural areas and farmers, develop agriculture with science and technology, support rural areas with talents, and give preferential treatment to farmers with policies.
4. Through investigation and observation, we find that Jia Zhen's labor force is mainly between 0 and 70 years old, and the cosmopolitanism of young adults leads to the shortage of local labor force, which makes the local labor cost relatively high. If we think about this problem more deeply and widely, the lack and fault of rural labor force will be an important factor hindering the development of agricultural modernization and the comprehensive realization of a well-off society in China. At the same time, the lack of rural labor force also reflects some problems of the times, society and reality.
This research activity is the first attempt and innovation of "going to the countryside" in different forms and concepts since the establishment of the National Institute of New Rural Development in our school. Fortunately, we have become the pathfinder and leader of this innovation. This research experience helped me to re-understand "agriculture, countryside and farmers" and myself, gave me a brand-new and scientific orientation in practice, and made me have a clear understanding of my own shortcomings. I study soil fertility. As a soil fertility person, it is my duty and mission to serve agriculture, countryside and farmers. In the ivory tower, the knowledge we gained is too theoretical. Only by going deep into the grass roots and practicing in the countryside can we learn our major well and at the same time serve, irrigate and put the knowledge we have learned into the pockets of farmers.
Part II: Excellent examples of research experience.
Unconsciously, I arrived on the second day of the investigation! Although everyone was tired, they all got up on time. Prepare breakfast. After all, in the morning, a group of team members went to Shiguipo Village for investigation, leaving only four team members to cook at school. As a logistics team, we do our best to prepare meals and let the team members who have worked hard all the way eat well. The players dragged their tired bodies back, and it was already past 12. It's really hard! Because of the bad weather, the road is not only far but also muddy! But what makes us happy is that the investigation is further deepened and the team members can work hard and unite and cooperate! After lunch, everyone took a lunch break. Because of fatigue, everyone slept soundly until the captain's alarm clock woke everyone up! After some preparation, our group went out. The drizzle seems to indicate the hardship of the investigation, but we are not discouraged by it, but go to the investigation site organized under the leadership of the captain! The first village we came to was Shi Cun. After walking for a long time, I didn't see the farmers at home, and the team members were a little disheartened. In addition, some farmers are indifferent to our research work, which makes us depressed and our morale drops sharply! Finally, a farmer warmly welcomed us and tried his best to help us with our research work and fill in the questionnaire, which made us firmly believe that although the research road is bumpy, it can exercise our team and individual abilities and make us realize the shortcomings in our work and correct them. Then, we went on to our next destination: Xiadu Shi Cun. The same is true of this village. Few farmers stay at home, and the research work is not smooth! In addition, every household has dogs. When we passed by, those dogs barked so badly that everyone was scared! At this time, captain Zhan Mu stood behind the team and calmly protected us! I am really touched, not only because of Captain Zhan Mu's responsibility, but also because of this friendship. Considering that few farmers are at home in this village, we went to Shaniuhu Village. Although the journey is a little long, we have benefited a lot. The local villagers enthusiastically helped us and told us which villagers were free and where we could conduct research. Here, the research work is progressing smoothly.
For research, my feeling is that although the research work is very difficult, we should not shrink from the difficulties, but face them. In addition, hard work, team awareness, mutual help and difficulties are important conditions for a team to succeed.
Article 3: Experience gained from investigating and understanding excellent examples.
Recently, I went to the countryside many times to investigate the work of the Family Planning Association. Because of my business scope, I didn't fully reflect what I saw and heard in my news report. I just wrote a little about my own work. In fact, there are still many feelings I haven't expressed. What we see and hear at the grassroots level is not only family planning, but also the new look of the countryside, the new life of farmers and the new development of agriculture. We know that all this is a true portrayal of Party committees and governments at all levels studying and practicing Scientific Outlook on Development, practicing Scientific Outlook on Development, and striving to create a happy and healthy life for the masses, which is a concrete manifestation of the masses enjoying the fruits of social development. After many years of going to the countryside, I have a sharp contrast between the past and today's changes in rural areas in Gansu: vicissitudes of life have made me know. The day before yesterday, the relevant leaders of the Provincial Population Committee conveyed to the workers the main spirit of the first report made by Governor Xu at a series of achievement reports celebrating the xx anniversary of the founding of New China, which made me realize that Gansu is a province with great development potential, many difficulties and outstanding advantages and disadvantages, and also made me more deeply understand the indomitable spirit of "one person for ten years" formed over the past decades. Combining population and family planning work, I want to talk about my feelings:
First, the countryside has taken on a new look.
At the beginning of this year, the provincial population commission made overall arrangements to establish a demonstration base for population and family planning publicity and education, and local family planning associations actively assisted and jointly established it. Every time I enter the village, I see that the construction of population and cultural compound and reproductive cultural corridor in each village is fruitful. Every time you go to a village, the first thing you see is the reproductive culture corridor, with colorful paintings and rich contents that attract attention. Looking closely, around the work of the population and family planning center, around the population and family planning laws and regulations, preferential policies, reproductive health care knowledge, combined with agricultural production technology, information, and rural civilization construction, it is infectious. I deeply feel that what I saw in August and September is better than what I saw in June and July, which shows that the work is developing healthily and orderly, and the study between brother counties (districts) is very close. The "house-oriented" measures in bazaars and community streets have played an important role in the family planning management and service of floating population, while the open column of family planning government affairs highlights the transparency of "sunshine family planning", and the development of family planning associations in various places is indeed visible. We feel that with the development of economy, the spiritual pursuit of rural people is increasingly rich. Chatting with farmers from all over the world, we can feel their optimistic attitude towards life and confidence in developing production and creating a better life. The countryside has indeed taken on a new look.
The most touching thing: anding district awarded 6,000 yuan to junior college students and 8,000 yuan to undergraduates, which received enthusiastic response in the local area. The actions of government departments such as family planning conform to people's desire for their children to succeed.
Second, farmers have a new life.
No matter in Hexi area, where the economy is relatively good, or in the central area, where the economy is relatively underdeveloped, we all feel the changes and development in the countryside and see the peasant life that is very different from the past.
In Zhaojiapu Village, Xiankou Town, anding district, we visited several families. Yang Xiuzhen, female, 63 years old, gave birth to two boys and one girl, and now lives in the second son's house. The second son and his wife went out to work and gave birth to a son, who is now over one year old. There are two-story buildings, covering an area of 430 square meters, of which the population living area is 2 10 square meters, and the backyard livestock breeding area is 220 square meters. In the process of talking with her, we found that she is not only familiar with family planning policies, but also very familiar with policies in education and health. At the end of the conversation, she couldn't help saying: "The current policy is very good, and the * * * production party is very good to us old farmers. Our life is really getting better. Children spend less money on schooling, do not pay taxes on farming, and have subsidies. Family planning makes it easier for adults to raise fewer dolls, and life is much better than before! " Her words made us laugh happily with her from time to time.
Compared with Dingxi many years ago, it gradually presents a new scene of "wider roads, greener mountains and changed people's lives".
Third, new progress has been made in agriculture.
The new development in rural areas has made farmers' lives better. In the process of investigation, we occasionally ask about the development of rural industries. There are many farmers in mountainous areas, but the output is small. There are few farmers in Sichuan, but the output is high. According to this situation, local party committees and governments, on the premise of fully grasping market information, consult with the masses, guide farmers to grow crops suitable for the local area, or mainly grow grain or cash crops, so that farmers' limited land can bring economic benefits into play, and with the tax reduction and subsidy policies for agriculture, agriculture has gradually embarked on the road of coordinated development and sustainable development. I was deeply impressed by those large-scale vegetable greenhouses and endless crops.
Problem: Family planning workers at the grass-roots level unanimously reported that the establishment of the interest-oriented mechanism of family planning has made the relationship between family planning workers and the masses more harmonious and greatly improved the relationship between the party and the masses. However, with the deepening of work, some systems have problems in ensuring continuity. For example, in this year's "successful project" in anding district, the children of two family planning families admitted to universities were given bonuses, with an annual bonus of 1.3 million yuan. The county and township finances were very difficult and could not afford it. In short, the difficulty at work is the problem of "lack of money".
Perhaps the process of investigation is not detailed enough, and the content of investigation is not comprehensive enough, but the feelings and experiences are profound and true.
