There is a tree king in Hotan, Xinjiang, China: In Gulebage Village, Aksarayi Township, Mo Yuxian, there is an extremely old tree whose Uighur translation is Wu Tong, that is, Wu Tongshu. This ancient buttonwood tree is about 30 meters high, with a trunk DBH of 2.7 meters and a trunk bust of 8.75 meters. Its crown covers the ground 1.5 mu. According to experts from Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences, the age of this tree is about 1000 years.
