The driver test (motor vehicle driver test) is a qualification test held by the vehicle management office of the Public Security Bureau. Only by passing the driving test can you get a driver's license and drive a motor vehicle legally.
Motor vehicle driver test content Road traffic safety laws and regulations and related knowledge test subjects (referred to as "subject 1"), venue driving skills test subjects (referred to as "subject 2"), road driving skills and safe and civilized driving common sense test subjects (referred to as "subject 3"). The examination contents and eligibility criteria are unified throughout the country, and corresponding examination items are stipulated according to different driving models.
On 20021May 10, the Ministry of Public Security held a press conference and issued 12 measures to deepen the reform of public security traffic management, such as "simplifying administration and decentralization, strengthening supervision and improving services". The highlight of most concern is the pilot implementation of electronic motor vehicle driving license.
Subject 1 requirements
For the first time to apply for a motor vehicle driver's license or increase the number of quasi-driving models, the vehicle management office shall issue a certificate of learning driving within one day after passing the examination. If it is a direct self-study exam, the vehicle management office shall also issue special signs for driving schools in accordance with regulations.
The validity period of the learner's driving certificate is three years, but the validity period shall not exceed the upper limit of the application age. Applicants should complete the examinations of subject 2 and subject 3 within the validity period. If the examination is not completed within the validity period, the scores of subjects that have passed the examination are invalid.
Subject 2 requirements
To apply for a motor vehicle driver's license for the first time or increase the number of quasi-driving models, the applicant shall meet the following requirements when making an appointment for examination subject 2:
(a) to apply for small cars, small automatic cars, low-speed trucks, three-wheeled cars, small automatic buses for the disabled, wheeled mechanical vehicles, trolleybuses and trams, and make an appointment for the examination within ten days after obtaining the driver's license;
(two) to apply for large buses, heavy tractor trailers, city buses, medium-sized buses, large trucks, light tractor trailers, and make an appointment for the exam 20 days after obtaining the driver's license.
Subject three requirements
To apply for a motor vehicle driver's license for the first time or increase the number of quasi-driving models, the applicant shall meet the following requirements when making an appointment for examination subject 3:
(a) apply for small automatic cars, small automatic buses for the disabled, low-speed trucks and three-wheeled cars, and make an appointment for the exam 20 days after obtaining a driver's license;
(two) to apply for small cars, wheeled special mechanical vehicles, trolleybuses and trams, and make an appointment for the examination 30 days after obtaining the driver's license;
(three) to apply for large passenger cars, heavy-duty towed trailers, city buses, medium-sized buses and large trucks, it is necessary to make an appointment for the examination 40 days after obtaining the driver's license. Those who already hold a driver's license and apply for increasing the number of quasi-driving models will make an appointment for the exam 30 days after obtaining the learner's driving certificate.
