Make green more controllable
"BIM technology has great potential in improving the problems existing in current green buildings and improving the overall performance of green buildings." Lin Haiyan, vice president of China Institute of Building Research, said that although green buildings in China are developing rapidly at present, there have always been problems such as emphasizing design over operation and mismatch between design objectives and results.
As the editor-in-chief of the new green building evaluation standard, he believes that although the number of green building design signs is much larger than that of operation signs, the fundamental purpose of green building is to realize environmental protection and resource intensive in the whole life cycle of the building, and BIM can play an important role in it.
"A project has to go through many stages such as design, construction, operation and maintenance, and many problems exist at the time of design. Because the design is a relatively standard situation, there is no way to simulate the specific performance of 365 days, so it may be inconsistent or even contrary to the original intention of the design when it finally lands. If we can add some information simulation tools in the design stage to simulate its performance after completion, we can predict whether its actual performance is reasonable and whether it meets the certification system of some green buildings such as Green Samsung in the design stage. " Li Shaojian, director of the engineering construction industry of Autodesk Software (China) Co., Ltd., said that in the two-dimensional era dominated by CAD, it is difficult to make accurate, quantitative and forward-looking estimation and analysis. With BIM, in the design stage, it can not only contain more information about building-related attributes, but also make real-time and very accurate quantitative comparison with some external objective references to ensure that the intention of the design stage can be truly realized in the construction stage. In the operation and maintenance stage after completion, BIM can also monitor and manage the operation data of the building at any time and adjust it in time to ensure that it runs in an ideal state, thus truly and thoroughly implementing the environmental protection objectives of green buildings.
Regarding the intensive effect brought by BIM, Ren Aizhu, vice chairman of china civil engineering society Computer Application Branch, took a project in New Zealand as an example. After adopting BIM technology, the project saves energy by 73%, artificial lighting sources and water consumption by 50% compared with buildings of the same area. Moreover, the recycling rate of waste in the project has reached 70%, and the environmental protection effect is very obvious.
Shanghai is one step ahead.
It is noteworthy that just a few days before the conference, Shanghai just issued the Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Application of BIM Technology in this Municipality (hereinafter referred to as the Opinions), specifically proposing to promote the research on the integration of BIM technology with green buildings and building industrialization, establish a BIM technology application system that meets the requirements of assembly building design and construction, and establish a standard component model family library to improve the quality and efficiency of assembly building design and construction. Improve the level of simulation analysis software based on BIM technology, enhance the simulation analysis and optimization improvement ability of green buildings in resource conservation and environmental protection, and maximize the effect of green buildings.
"The main purpose of this regulation is to use BIM to form a linkage effect in the construction industry and promote the overall transformation and upgrading of the industry." Yang Zhiyong, chairman of the Computer Application Committee of the Architectural Structure Branch of China Architectural Society, said.
The reporter learned that when Han, secretary of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee, was investigating how to build Shanghai into an internationally influential innovation center required by the central government, he proposed that BIM technology must be developed. The Opinions specify the main objectives, key tasks and safeguard measures of BIM development. It is pointed out that by the end of 20 16, the main design, construction, consulting services and property management units in the city generally have the ability to apply BIM technology. By 20 17, BIM technology will be applied to all government investment projects above designated size in the city, and BIM technology will be widely applied to social investment projects above designated size.
"Shanghai is the first in the country to introduce BIM special guidance policies. It can be said that a stone has stirred up thousands of waves and greatly promoted the development of BIM in this city and even the whole industry. " Wang Xiaojun, Beijing Hongye Peer Technology Co., Ltd. believes that the opinions clarify the process of BIM delivery, and require that by 20 17, all government investment projects above designated size in the city should apply BIM technology. This is an inspiration to many enterprises and cities that are on the sidelines or at a loss.
