Martial arts novels are mainly about people, their personalities, experiences, grudges and enmities.
But it doesn't prevent us from looking at the map from a special angle: Where have the protagonists been in China since the whole book was written?
Connecting these places in series can not only help us connect the story lines in series, but more importantly, it can also bring us an unusual feeling and raise a sense of pride and ambition in our hearts.
Some time ago, I just finished reading The Legend of the Flying Fox by Mr. Jin Yong, and then I had a whim to sum it up: From the beginning to the end of the book, where did Hu Fei go?
The first chapter of this book is the commercial fortress of heavy rain. Where is the merchant's castle? It is certain in Shandong province. Because my brother Hu, the leader of the Red Cross, said as soon as he appeared:
I have something important to do when I come to Shandong from Xinjiang.
But I didn't seem to give a detailed address, and then I rummaged through the books and found it. So I made a curious search and found that there is a commercial port fort in Wuding County, Binzhou City, Shandong Province today, which should be referred to here. Pei Hu in the front part is still a teenager.
In a blink of an eye, Pei Hu Jr. grew up in a wandering life of being at home all over the world and doing chivalrous deeds. One day, I came to Foshan Town, Guangdong Province. At that time, it was still a town, and now it is Foshan. I came across Feng Tiannan persecuting Zhong A Si's family, so I drew my sword to help. It's a pity that Feng Tiannan lost all his money, abandoned his business and fled.
By coincidence, I learned that Feng Tiannan might be invited by Fu Kang 'an to attend the world leaders' meeting in Beijing, so I traced it all the way to Hengyang Town, Hunan Province, which is now Hengyang City. I met the heroine Yuan Ziyi here, and then I watched Yuan Ziyi grab the position of the first head, which was also in Fengye Villa, Hengyang.
Then the two boys chased each other and continued north to Xiangtan Town, Hunan Province, which is now Xiangtan City. At Xiangjiang wharf, Yuan Ziyi grabbed the top spot of the Eight Immortals, and Pei Hu helped to clear the way. From here on, the two began to have feelings.
They went on to take shelter in the ancient ChristianRandPhillips Temple. Since it is called ChristianRandPhillips Temple, it is naturally in Hunan. I didn't expect to meet the murderer Feng Tiannan here. However, due to Yuan Ziyi's obstruction, Feng Tiannan was able to escape. So Pei Hu and Yuan Ziyi also parted ways.
After Yuan Ziyi left the ChristianRandPhillips shrine, Pei Hu stayed here. I didn't expect to meet Mr. and Mrs. Liu Hezhen again, but three brothers in northern Hubei stopped them, as if in a hurry.
It turns out that Prince He of Liu was really used to poison Miao Renfeng, the world-beater golden Buddha. Three brothers in northern Hubei stopped him, but he didn't know. Finally, Pei Hu secretly followed Liu Hezhen to Miao Renfeng's residence. Although there is no specific location here, it should still be in Xiangtan according to the itinerary.
After Miao Renfeng's eyes were blinded by the poison in Liu Hezhen's letter to him, Pei Hu and Gui Jianchou's second child took the initiative to seek medical treatment in Yaowanggu, Baimasi Town, Dongting Lake. At this time, Dongting Lake is still in Hunan. Pei Hu met the second heroine in the book here. She is clever and considerate, but not as beautiful as Cheng Lingsu in Yuan Ziyi.
After many twists and turns, Miao Renfeng's eyes were finally cured. Pei Hu and Cheng Lingsu became sworn brothers and sisters ... Cheng Lingsu promised to go to Beijing with Pei Hu to attend the world leaders' meeting. When passing through Tang Yi Town, Pei Hu was inexplicably received by a mysterious person and gave him a mansion.
This Tang Yi town is not explicitly mentioned in the book, but it should be somewhere in Hunan or Hubei, because the last place here is Dongting Lake in Hunan, and the next place is Guangshui in Hubei ... I searched and found that there is a Tang Yi town in Xiaogan City, Hubei Province, which is the most suitable place for Tang Yi Town in the book.
The two were accepted one after another on the way north, so they had to dress up and continue north. Passing through Guangshui City, Hubei Province, Pei Hu and Zhēng Lingsu met Xu ZH Nong and Ma Chunhua. The couple walked with silver darts. Unusually, they were provoked by a group of unusual martial arts experts.
It turned out that these people were sent by Fu Kang 'an to take Ma Chunhua and two children back to Beijing. Finally, after several rounds of tossing, Ma Chunhua left with the children, and Pei Hu made some friends with these experts.
Then Pei Hu and Cheng Lingsu went to Beijing. When they arrived, they finally figured out a way to sneak into the Grand Commander's Mansion in Fu Kangan and attend the world leaders' meeting, where they successfully spoiled the meeting with the Red Cross Heroes and Yuan Ziyi.
Shortly after the success of the spoiler, Pei Hu was accidentally poisoned by the drug Lord's brother. Cheng Lingsu was poisoned in an ancient temple near Beijing. Pei Hu was heartbroken to learn about the poison on Pei Hu.
Finally, Hu Fei returned to Cangzhou, Hebei Province with Cheng Lingsu's ashes, ready to be buried next to his parents' cemetery, namely Hu Yidao and his wife. But he was ambushed by Tian Guinong here, and finally killed by Pei Hu. Yuan Ziyi also seems to be separated from Pei Hu here. This is the end of the story.
Then we can sum up the places that Pei Hu has been in the book The Legend of Flying Fox:
Binzhou City, Shandong Province-Foshan City, Guangdong Province-Hengyang City, Hunan Province-Xiangtan City, Hunan Province-Dongting Lake, Hubei Province-Xiaogan City, Hubei Province-Guangshui City, Hubei Province-Beijing-Cangzhou, Hebei Province.
Based on this, you can connect the stories of the whole book in series, and you can get different feelings yourself, maybe a little emotional.
