Shanghai Metro Line 9, also known as Shen-Song Line, is an east-west line, which was built by Shanghai Gangtie Construction Co., Ltd. The total length of rail transit Line 9 from Jiuting Station to Sijing Station is 6.247 kilometers, which was once the longest section among Shanghai rail transit stations. In the planning, the whole line runs from Songjiang South Station to Cao Lu Railway Station, and the route has been determined as the first and second phases from Songjiang South Station in the west to Yanggao Middle Road Station in the east. The southern section of the third phase project is from Songjiang Xincheng Station to Songjiang South Station, which started on February 30, 2009 and was put into trial operation from February 30, 2065438 to February 30, 2002. The third phase of Pudong continued to extend eastward from Yanggao Middle Road Station to Cao Lu Road in Pudong, and construction started at the end of 20 13.

Shanghai Metro Line 9, with the project number R4, also known as Shen-Song Line, is an east-west line, which was built by Shanghai Metro Construction Co., Ltd. (a joint venture company of Hong Kong Metro in Shanghai).
In the initial planning, the numbers of Songjiang New Town to Chongming Island, Songjiang South Station of Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo Passenger Dedicated Line and Jinhai Road in the east were changed to 19, and Line 9 went east to Cao Lu (the station name was not officially announced). The first phase project from Songjiang New Town to Guilin is 29. 14 km long, with 2 stations 12. The remaining Yishan Road was opened on February 28th, 2008, increasing the number of stations opened to 13. The second phase from Yishan Road to century avenue was opened on February 28th, 2009, with off-peak operation, covering morning and evening peaks before 20 10, and century avenue-Yanggao Middle Road in 2009. The third phase of the project continues to extend eastward from Yanggao Middle Road to Cao Lu Station of Pudong Railway, which is included in the Shanghai 20/KLOC-0 ~ 2020 construction plan and will be completed and opened to traffic by 2020 at the latest. The southern section of the third phase of the project is from Songjiang New Town to Songjiang South Station, which started on February 30, 2009 and opened on October 20 12.
