What do you mean by indecision (why are you always indecisive)

Indecision describes cowardice and indecision. Hesitate. People who are indecisive often hesitate between various choices in life and cannot make a choice; I am often skeptical about my decision, and I am worried that my decision will bring bad consequences. They can't face failure bravely, and they can't grasp the chance of success. Indecisive personality often has a negative impact on life and becomes a stumbling block on the road to success.

We analyze the reasons for indecision from a psychological point of view:

(A) from the perspective of understanding

Lack of clear understanding of the nature of the problem leads to indecision when encountering things, and at the same time, this is also the cause of psychological conflict. For example, young people who have just entered the society are often indecisive because they have no experience and lack the necessary experience and knowledge.

(2) Personality angle

Indecisive people are often weak, afraid to stick to their own views, afraid to show their attitude, always too concerned about other people's views, bound by others' views. They usually have personality characteristics such as lack of self-confidence, emotional fragility, easy to be hinted, following the crowd and being too cautious.

(3) Behavior angle

We can change the indecisive character from the following three aspects:

First, keep learning and build confidence.

Look at your own shortcomings with a growing thinking mode, evaluate your own abilities with an open mind, and set your own growth goals. I believe that people's ability can be cultivated. Although innate talents, personalities and resources are different, they can all be changed through hard work. Through continuous learning, expand ability and accumulate self-confidence. Take failure as a problem that needs to be faced and solved, and learn and benefit from it. Bravely face setbacks and failures, keep learning and make yourself stronger.

Second, pursue Excellence, not perfection.

Thinking is a problem; Action is the answer. Napoleon Hill said, "Don't wait until everything is ready. Nothing is absolutely perfect. If you have to wait until all the conditions are met, you can only wait forever. "

Some people think that only perfection is valuable. Stop, for fear that the status quo will have a bad influence. Perfectionism often hinders its progress. Focus on results and devote yourself wholeheartedly. Believe that you have the ability, talent and wisdom to achieve results and turn this idea into an inherent habitual thinking. Focus on achieving the goal, not everything is perfect.

Third, live with your heart and accept the present.

Mindfulness has become a way of life and psychotherapy. Breathing exercise is the simplest formal mindfulness exercise. First, choose a comfortable sitting position, stay upright and imagine a rope fixed on your head. Then, slowly shake your head back and forth, find a natural and comfortable balance point, and sit quietly. Finally, close your eyes again and feel the breathing state. Keep breathing naturally; If you find that your attention has deviated, it is completely normal, just turn your attention back to breathing.

Accept yourself completely, keep exploring, and keep insight into yourself. The longer you spend, the better you will know yourself. Sometimes some of your thoughts, feelings and opinions are not true, and we often receive some wrong information or are influenced by prejudice and make up our minds. When we realize our true selves, our hearts will change with the discovery, and we will face life more actively.

Get better.

Meet a better self.
