Brief introduction of Changsha South Railway Station
The design of Changsha South Railway Station embodies the regional characteristics of Hunan's "landscape city" and blends into Huxiang culture. The designer refined the undulating curve of the mountain into the shape of the station building and the wave of water into the form of the platform canopy, forming a curve of "three fragrances and four waters". The East Square of Changsha South Railway Station covers an area of 74,800 square meters, with a total construction area of16900 square meters, which is divided into two parts: underground static traffic and transfer square, ground evacuation and landscape square.
The west station building of Changsha South Railway Station is vertically divided into three floors: exit floor, platform floor and elevated floor. The elevated floor is divided into a waiting hall in the middle and service areas at both ends. The exit floor includes the exit hall and the exit passages on the east and west sides, connecting the east and west squares into a whole.
