Can I make up the CISP exam if I fail it?

Candidates who fail CISP can take make-up exams. Each candidate has two free make-up exams. Candidates who fail the two make-up exams are required to pay a make-up exam fee from 500 yuan for each make-up exam (see Measures for the Administration of Charges of Authorized Training Institutions). If candidates cheat or violate discipline during the make-up exam, their make-up exam results will be revoked.

CISP examination is applicable to personnel engaged in information security service or advanced security management in information security assessment institutions, information security consulting services, social organizations, groups, enterprises and institutions, corporate information security supervisors, information security service suppliers, IT or security consultants, IT auditors, information security lecturers or trainers, information security incident investigators, and other personnel engaged in information security-related work (such as system administrators and programmers).

CISP registration method:

First of all, CISP applicants can consult CISP-related applications by phone, email or WeChat official account. Then you need to sign up for the CISP exam.

If you fail the exam, you can apply for a make-up exam, and you need to submit a CISP registration application until you pass the exam. Those who do not meet the basic requirements for registration need to supplement materials or wait until they meet the requirements before reapplying. If the registration requirements are met, the evaluation center will issue CISP certificate to the applicant. After issuing the certificate, CISP holders need to continue relevant studies, and after three years, they need to apply for certificate maintenance in advance. Holders who do not meet the maintenance conditions need to re-apply for the examination, and can continue to maintain CISP qualification after passing the examination.
