Interface news received a report that the headquarters of Shentong Express issued an internal notice on September 25th, requiring the whole network to prohibit the business of acting as an agent of Extreme Rabbit Express.
According to the requirements of the Notice, all affiliated companies (including the contracted area) are not allowed to join the polar rabbit network and the contracted area for any reason or in any form; The delegations of both parties shall not represent the extreme rabbit business for any reason or in any form. Specific control measures include: strictly investigate the polar rabbit express that has flowed into the transshipment link, collect evidence and report it to the transshipment center, treat it as a problem piece and return it as the original order; For the extremely rabbit express mail that has flowed into the terminal network, the terminal network company will collect evidence and report it as a problem piece, and notify the sender network to inform the recipient to collect it.
The notice also stated that the exclusive operation of Extreme Rabbit Express was strictly implemented. If a branch company (contracting area) has joined or represented a rabbit branch, once verified, it will be fined ranging from 5,000 to 20,000 yuan as the case may be, and it is required to make rectification within a time limit. If the situation is serious, it will be retired; If the package contains polar rabbit express, it will be handled as polar rabbit express agent, and no complaints will be accepted. Once verified, the extremely rabbit express agent will be punished by 1000 yuan/ticket.
This is not the first peer "ban" that Polar Rabbit received this year. In July this year, Tong Yuan Express Headquarters also issued a similar notice, requiring the whole network to prohibit the agency of polar rabbit business, and requiring its outlets, parent stations and other outlets to reject polar rabbit packages.
Obviously, they are independent express brands. Why did Tong Yuan, Shentong and other express delivery companies issue such a "ban" against extremely rabbits to franchisees one after another?
In the express delivery industry, although various express delivery companies prohibit their outlets from representing multiple brands at the same time, many franchisees also represent multiple express delivery and express logistics brands at the same time. Those experienced and loyal high-quality express franchisees are one of the core resources of the express delivery company network and one of the factors to measure the core competitiveness of joining express delivery companies.
However, due to the work background of Li Jie, the founder of Extreme Rabbit Express, there was no large-scale foreign investment in the initial stage of the establishment of the national express network. Instead, the management rights of outlets in the core cities were handed over to the original mobile phone dealers of OPPO brands, and the management rights of secondary agents or contracted areas in other cities were open to join, or only in some remote areas and towns.
At the same time, Extreme Rabbit Express initially established a nationwide service network at the end of May this year, with provincial and municipal coverage of 100%, county coverage of 98% and township coverage of 90%. Like Tongda Department, Extreme Rabbit Express mainly focuses on e-commerce express business. In April, it has been connected to the 1 1 mainstream platform except Ali and JD.COM e-commerce, which is more homogeneous with Tongda in pricing and service, and the competition is fierce.
In this context, Speed Rabbit Express, as a "shield", is not only taboo by the headquarters of other express delivery companies, but also spontaneously resisted by some "Tongda Department" franchisees.
However, it is still unknown how hard this move will hit the polar rabbit. Now we are about to enter the peak season of express delivery industry, and the increasing number of parcels will continue to test the endurance of polar rabbit network, especially the terminal delivery ability.
"Double Eleven" will be a key battle for express delivery companies including Polar Rabbit.
