First of all, I think this policy is not in line with China's national conditions.
China has a large labor force and few employment opportunities. Many people work at the bottom without even basic social security. They get paid for a day's work, and they have no money if they don't go to work. They usually have no paid sick leave, let alone paid physiological leave. This is simply unrealistic. That is, state-owned enterprises or government agencies can implement this policy. Therefore, the introduction of this policy has no practical effect and cannot benefit the majority of female compatriots at all.
Secondly, this policy will make it more difficult for women to find jobs.
Many employers themselves have gender discrimination. If this policy is implemented again, more employers will reduce the recruitment of female employees or even recruit only male employees. Then it will be more difficult for women to find a job.
Third, the physiological period belongs to privacy, and many women are reluctant to say it.
Influenced by traditional ideas, many women don't want others to know that they are in their physiological period. Then even if this policy is implemented, many women will be embarrassed to tell the company leaders, so they will not enjoy this welfare.
Fourth, not implementing this policy will not affect women's physical rest.
At present, the leave system of many companies is still relatively humanized. If the female employee is really uncomfortable during the physiological period, she can ask the leader for leave. In fact, the most painful physiological period is the first two days, and it will not be particularly uncomfortable to rest for two days. For the company, employees taking two days off won't delay much work. Therefore, even if this policy is not implemented, it will not affect the rest of women's physiological period.
